We, h&w and 18/19 y/o daughters just disembarked from a great week on Seaview. We flew from New York and spent a day and night in Barcelona (hop on/hop off bus was great for our jet-lagged selves to get an overview of that lovely city). We overnighted at the Hilton Barcelona which was fine. The next day we took a taxi from our hotel to the Seaview arriving around 12noon. Easy embarkation- they ...
Just returned from a Med cruise on the MSC Fantasia.
We are seasoned cruisers and have never cruised with MSC before .
Embarkation and disembarkation was very well organised . No problems with this at all .
Ship is beautiful, yes, there are a few places that require refurbishment but does not detract from the aesthetics of the ship . (Fantasia being refurbished next year)
Balcony ...
Everything worked great with the cruise. It was our first cruise, so I was a bit nervous after reading some complaints on reviews...... hmmm well maybe I should not have read it as I believe now, that is you need to complain, well maybe you should not go on a cruise. We have absolutely nothing to complain about.
Dining was great and we tried 3 Ala cart restaurants, they were all great and my ...
Loved the itinerary and wanted to go to Barcelona. Other than Rome loved each place. The ship has that new ship smell. The Central Park area is impressive. I would fault it for the Solarium, didn't seem laid out right to us, too much walking up and down stairs, dangerous in the sun. And the "pools" were like baths. The entertainment in my view as flawless. The staff seemed invested in making ...
We chose this cruise because of the destinations and timing. It was our girls' first time in Europe. We had never been to Barcelona and enjoyed exploring it before the cruise. We loved every stop and did three cruise excursions. The others we either planned on our own or just decided that day. The staff on the ship was amazing. Their enthusiasm is incredible.
Our cabin was okay. I mean, it was ...
First, let me describe who we are and what we were looking for in a cruise. We are two Americans in our early 40s, looking for a romantic/tropical vacation (without kiddos, of course). We enjoy food and wine, relaxing on the beach and a little bit of sight seeing. The 7-day Western Mediterranean cruise aboard the Azamara Quest was perfect for our needs.
The ship’s small size allowed us to ...
Thank you for the review. We always appreciate hearing from our younger cruisers.
I'm so glad you enjoyed your Mediterranean cruise with us. We'll look forward to welcoming you back soon!...
We hadn't been on Connie since she was doing Caribbean cruises. We enjoyed the updates though it was a strange cruise to us. We enjoy the port intensive itineraries in Europe. Montenegro is a must return destination. Our experience with the crew is greatly improved from what we remembered. Only issue was that guests were permitted to skip the hand sanitizer when entering the buffet. Seems ...
We have just finished the cruise on the Azamara Quest which left Barcelona on 30 June 2018 and arrived Civitavecchia on 7 July 2018. It was a great cruise. The ports visited were interesting and there was enough to do for the time spent at each port. The whole of the staff were fantastic in all areas of the boat. We stayed in a balcony suite and give a very big thankyou to our butler (Eyup) and ...
We had a fantastic time on board the Norwegian Epic on our cruise covering the Western Med. The package we had included two free offerings. We chose unlimited beverages and specialty dining. By having both of these we know we saved several hundred dollars. The room we had was a very roomy and clean mini-suite. We enjoyed fantastic meals both in the specialty dining rooms (Cagney, La Cucina ...
My family, along with 15 others, chose to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays on a new cruise ship....Symphony. We spent a day in Barcelona before boarding the ship, from Taxi to our stateroom 20 minutes. I was so blown away by how efficient the embarkment process was for all of us.
Highlights:
*We chose an inside stateroom, because, we are normally in the room 5 hours a day. Three adults ...
