This was my third cruise with Virgin Voyages and I absolutely loved it!
The Valiant Lady ship was beautiful and easy to navigate, the restaurants, shows and most of all the people were exceptional! My cabin was spacious and the hammock on the balcony was surprisingly comfortable! So much so that I fell asleep in it three nights in a row!
I would also like to give a special thank you to ...
My wife and I went on our second cruise on Virgin Voyages with the October 1st sailing of the French Daze & Ibiza Nights itinerary out of Barcelona. Quick summary: the ship was just as beautiful as we remembered, food was delicious, service was incredible, great shore excursions and lovely ports of call, and perfect weather.
Pre-cruise, we flew into Barcelon and stayed at Hotel 1898 on La ...
The itinerary was excellent, although we won't ever embark/disembark from Marseille again thanks to their brutal taxation.
Staff were friendly and attentive throughout the ship. Given the age of the ship, it's not in bad shape, the rooms that seem to be rated poorly due to design reminded us of the 2 RV's we once owned and loved.
I would have no hesitation booking on this ship ...
Decided to do a special Mother/Daughter trip and my mother requested an Oceania Cruise since she has sailed with them before. She raved about their food and we both love food so we decided on a Mediterranean cruise since I had never been to that area before.
Embarkation:
I would never use Oceania Air again unless they changed their process. Getting to the ship and back home were both ...
We chose Viking based on our age (newly retired), preference for smaller ships and an adult environment. We choose the Iconic Western Mediterranean itinerary because of the absence of days at sea, which maximized our time in port. Also our travel agent advised that fall sailings can encounter rougher seas; this itinerary stays near the coast where wave action is much less.
We've previously ...
This is our sixth cruise with Virgin Voyages and by far the busiest, on the sea days every lounger and daybed was taken up, but it was still possible to find chairs in the sun. Service was fantastic from all crew across the ship, they were happy to help and put right the small issues we had.
When ordering food starters came out promptly but mains took a little longer, but overall meals were ...
We selected this cruise because of the itinerary. We visited 6 countries and got a taste of the Mediterranean so we can return to our favorite places. Viking has always been a favorite cruise line for us...so inclusive. We never have a balance on our account at the end of the cruise because so much is included. We did not purchase the Silver Beverage package and had plenty of wine and beer. ...
Compare to other cruise ships we took in the past; Viking is head and shoulders above all other cruise ships. Including best customer service (they even remember our names), cleanliness of stateroom and the entire ship, 5-star services in all restaurants, bars on the ship and stateroom. In addition to the excellent services, the food was spectacular. To serve so many people every day and ...
We have cruised many times before but never on Viking. It was an unbelievable experience. Every need was met, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room steward was so great. Anything we needed was taken care of very quickly. It was not crowded and we never waited in line for anything. The excursions were top notch, so well run and efficient. The ship was spotless and the food was phenomenal. ...
As as a first time cruiser, I was unsure of what to expect. In my opinion, Viking exceeded all expectations. The ship was absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean. Every aspect was meticulous - warm and friendly staff genuinely happy to provide excellent service. Food options were plentiful, from casual to elegant. Our stateroom was small but more than comfortable; plenty of closet and ...
