This was our third Transatlantic cruise with Carnival and by far the worst. If this had been our first Carnival cruise we'd never set foot again on a Carnival ship. The cruise got off to the worst possible start and never really recovered to an acceptable level. It started on a sour note with Embarkation and finished on a sour note with Disembarkation, the bit inbetween was only slightly ...

This past week I embarked on my first, and unless this cruise is different in some way than others, my last cruise. I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise and I am in fact, lying under a stained cruise ship cabin ceiling, wondering what on earth could cause stains on the ceiling above my lovely twin bed.
This completely forgettable and unremarkable trip started with ...
(1) only 4 to 5 choices of cheap fruits and melon always are cutted with hard skin, kiwi are just put in the bowl with skin. How do people eat them?
(2) limited food options. Cheap food, all these food are just like school canteen level. Shame.
(3) no enough space for dining. Fixed table with fixed time for lunch and dinner. MSC has no enough space for dining, then the owner shall think how ...
We wanted to do a Mediterranean cruise. Travelled on the Epic which has been updated - State room with balcony mid ship for up to 3 - way too small for 2 people - have to step aside everytime- bed is too short (husband is 5'11") you have to pull out an extension and then it is difficult get to bathroom; sink in bedroom - noisy if other person is still sleeping; A lot of entertainment in the ...
I chose this cruise as it was part of the Ryder Cup official sponsor. Shame on the PGA for picking such an inferior partner and 3rd party to coordinate this vacation. It was awful and a waste of €4 thousand! The lack of communications, misinformation and just complete discombobulated events made this a horrible waste of time, ports and events.

Ship is new and cabins comfortable - but that's the extent of what can be said favorably about the Virgin Voyages experience. The Jacuzzis don't work. The soda machines don't work. You can't get reservations at the onboard restaurants - and therefore may spend the entire trip eating muffins and cheeseburgers in 'The Galley' ... The bartenders deliberately put fake charges on your account - in one ...
The crew flock to you like vultures trying to up sell you on everything! Even if you have the packages you want they push you to upgrade. The food at the buffet isn't even all that edible. The eggs are runny and the pizza is garbage. I mean how can you screw up pizza? Huge language barrier. We spent more time pointing at things to order the food / drinks we wanted then actually enjoying the ...
We have cruised about 5 times before and enjoyed it a lot. We picked this cruise because of the itinerary which was great. Everything else was terrible, ship is old, tired and a horrible design, unless you want to go to the casino. The food was ok, the entertainment was almost none existent. The game shows we did attend were extremely old fashioned and sexist. The tendering was so unbelievable ...
My mother invited the entire family on a 7 day cruise in the Mediterranean to celebrate her birthday. This trip was a painful ordeal - every part of ship blared music from speakers. Every pool features music so loud you had to shout to be heard - pretty much the opposite of a relaxing vacation. At one point their tested their emergency warning system, and the emergency horns were literally lower ...
I was so excited to book this cruise for my family; the ports of call were just what we were looking for, and the biggest selling point for me was 2 days in Florence rather than 1 like other cruise lines.
Despite the beautiful ports of call, the cruise itself left so much to be desired. To summarize, here's the list.
Pros:
- Ports of call
Cons:
- Cancelled the stop in Sardinia, ...
