We have done two river cruises, wanted to try an ocean cruise. We had a wonderful experience. the food was terrific, service friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable and well appointed. The excursions were well planned and fascinating, I could have spent days at Pompeii! Rome was great too, and of course, Venice. The spa is the best kept secret on the boat, wonderful and relaxing ...
EPIC may be a great cruise ship for the Mediterranean Sea: Spain, Italy, and France are the epic draw while the ship offers a decent experience while getting you from port to port. It's not a bad ship. If you're booked on her for a future cruise, you won't really be disappointed. It's just not a standout. Certainly, there are several impressive features. NCL's freestyle vibe is refreshing. ...
Our family of 4 traveled on the Epic for my husbands 40th birthday. Having sailed with NCL 10 years before we were very excited. However, the Epic ship is in generally poor condition. This ship was advertised as a newer state of the art luxury ship. The Bliss Lounge, Speigel Tent and Epic Theatre are in dire need of repairs. Chair upholstery was thread-bare, paint was chipped everywhere and ...
Cannot recommend The Norwegian Epic enough, absolutely fantastic ship and on the whole professional and attentive staff.
Boarding starts at 1200 but cabins aren’t available until 1400, so no rush to board unless you want to get on early like we did and get your bearings and enjoy a glass of bubbles or two.
Fabulous entertainment, wonderful restaurants and great bars.
Speciality dining is ...
Our cruise buddies wanted desperately to go to the Meditteranean so we somewhat reluctantly said yes. We picked a June 2 departure our of Barcelona. Flew into Barcelona two days before and had a great time in Barcelona. So much to see and do. I was dissappointed that NCL didn't have any pre-cruise activities so we booked our own Barcelona tour and it was great. Struck out on our own the night ...
I chose this cruise based on the itinerary. We chose to embark from Barcelona because it was much closer to the port and I prefer starting my cruise on a weekend day. The embarkation was very easy and stress free. We were on the ship in less than 15 minutes. Disembarkation was also easy. Very orderly and quick. The ship was pretty good. Cabin location was ideal for me. It was at the back of ...
Embarkation

Embarkation was easy and as I'm disabled, we got to skip the line. Was nice and smooth.

I had an inside cabin. I also peeked into other cabins as they were being cleaned so I got a look at oceanview and balcony ones too. In general , they were a lot smaller than other ships I've been on. I also wasn't keen on the bathroom set ...
Just returned from an absolutely wonderful 11 night cruise on the Spirit. We had not sailed Siversea in 10 years and will definitely be returning. Our past experience with this line had not been very positive and we switched to Seabourn but decided to try again based on the itinerary and timing near our anniversary.
We embarked in Barcelona, it was qiuick and efficient but not as wrm as ...
We sailed on the Seaview out of Barcelona on 1 June 2019 for 7 nights. We were a party of 3 - Me, my wife (both 36) and our 4 year old daughter. My wife and I had cruised before (one Princess to Caribbean and one Celebrity to Central America) but both were pre-child.
Prior to the cruise I read the mixed reviews and was a little apprehensive, but thankfully had a very enjoyable ...
Booked a weeks cruise on the MSC Seaview June 1st -8th around the Mediterranean. We had travelled on MSC as a family of two adults and two children (10, 7) ten years ago and adored it. This time, it was myself and my now 20 year old daughter as a girls treat. Embarkation - Arrived at the Barcelona cruise terminal late morning, embarkation was extremely quick, efficient and we were on board within ...
