Loved the itinerary

Because of the unique and amazing itinerary, we truly LOVED this cruise! Sailing to all of the very different ports made for a very interesting experience and one that we will never forget. The crew was great, especially the cruise director, Aebhin O' Neill and Jonny the assistant cruise director (don't recall his last name). The entertainment was top notch, especially the 4 Viking vocalists and ...

Our first Viking cruise (17th overall cruise with multiple vendors, global-wide destinations, and 7-35 day durations). We found this to be the most complete and comfortable cruise experience with have had--engaging passengers, superbly attentive crew, amazing food, comfortable room with balcony, rarely a sense of a crowd especially in public spaces, seamless embarkation and disembarkation ...

Delightful Cruise on Viking Star Iberia, British Isles and Iceland

We chose this cruise because of the varied and interesting itinerary. Our only concern was which clothes to pack because of the different weather extremes we expected, but turned out the weather was perfect everywhere. Since Viking supplies convenient self-service laundry facilities, turns out we overpacked and next time we will be more judicious. This was our third Ocean cruise (10th overall on ...

The itinerary was a huge draw for me. So many places I'd never been topped off by Iceland and mixed with lovely visits to old favorites. Plus it was my first Viking cruise and a friend had raved about it. My only other cruise experience had been the Caribbean with island and Mexico stops. Not really my cup of tea, large ships, lots of partying and the constant ding ding ding of the casino. ...

I was apprehensive about so many sea days but I quickly fell into a relaxed mode and enjoyed the slow pace. Food was five stars every meal. Crew was above and beyond customer service! Plenty of places for solitude or activity with groups. Chef Gary did pop up lunches in the cafe several days and that was a treat. I’m never seen the head chef so engaging and he was delightful. The pool was tranquil ...

My husband and I chose this cruise to celebrate our retirement with my sister and her husband. We happened to depart on my birthday, so Viking provided a bottle of champagne and cake in celebration. The first full day at sea was a day of exploration of this beautiful ship. From the Explorer’s Lounge with its beautiful view and lovely collection of model ships to the incredible spa with its Snow ...

Having sailed on the River Yangtse with Viking we looked forward to experiencing an ocean cruise with them. The high standards of their river cruise was matched on this cruise from Barcelona to London. We have cruised on a number of other companies ocean cruises but this was head and shoulders above all. Staff were courteous and helpful without being intrusive. The ship belied the fact that ...

We'd travelled on Viking Sky on our honeymoon, and knew the exceptional level of service that Viking aim to deliver, so this was a much anticipated opportunity to relax. Cabins are all outside, all with balconies and furniture, so there was a wonderful sea view all the trip,. Cabin was really well cared for by the housekeeper for our section, right down to fresh ice delivered twice a day, ...

We have been on a number of Viking River Cruises and wanted to see how the Viking Ocean Cruises compared. From the moment we left the airport the service given by the Viking staff was amazing. You did not have to wait for the coach to fill so when we arrived at the ship boarding was so quick as we were in a small group. The cabin was lovely as were all of the crew. The food was amazing in every ...

We have previously traveled on Silverseas and Seabourne and are now Viking Converts. We enjoyed our trip so much that we have booked a trip later in the year in the same cabin. As both Seabourne and Silverseas have a smaller number of passengers, we were a bit worried that the ship would be crowded, however we were pleasantly surprised that this was, on the whole, not the case. With the ...
