Sailed for our 32nd Cruise , first with Viking Ocean having sailed on their Danube river cruise on their Longboats. Consistent non overbearing service...very different than other cruise lines. No children was a big plus. Beautiful furnishings and fittings. Outstanding open seating dinners in all restaurants. Veranda cabin was excellent: bed was firm, shower and toiletries were above average. Low ...

This was our first cruise. We fell in love with the Viking experience and have already spoken of future locations to look into..... All around fantastic experience, couldn't imagine cruising with another line. We chose the Junior Veranda Suite and could not have been happier. Very roomy and the bathroom was well appointed and had more than enough room. Bed and furniture was quite comfortable ...

We chose Viking for our first cruise ever due to hearing very good things about the service, ship, food and excursions. We were not disappointed! Our friends who cruise tell us that we will NOT enjoy cruising with any other cruise line. We found the food very good, enjoyed room service breakfast to allow us a little extra time to get ready for our excursions. We enjoyed that the ship did not feel ...

Our daughter always wanted to go to Italy. We were scheduled to go in December 2017 but the cruise was oversold or something so they rescheduled us and gave us better rooms in the process. Turned out July was a wonderful time to be in the Mediterranean. It was just beautiful. The ship had only been on a couple of cruises since being launched so it seemed brand new. We had been on the Star ...

We really liked our Viking River Cruise and were excited to be one of the first to sail on the Viking Orion Ship! When we saw the western Mediterranean, we knew that was the one to take. We loved the fact that this is a smaller vessel! Hate those giant “floating cities”!!! And because of this fact, we were able to port in smaller places and take advantage of some very quaint and unique cities, ...

Excellent cruise. My only problem was the switch in the number of days in Barcelona. We were expecting two days in Barcelona. That was one of the reasons we booked the cruise, to see Barcelona. Then as soon as we paid for the cruise, we were informed that the itinerary has been changed and we would only have one day in Barcelona. No explanation or adjustment from Viking. A little ...

I booked the cruise as to celebrate my son’s graduation. I wanted to spend quality time with him before he left for college and we had the time of our lives. The ship felt brand new. The room was splendid with wonderful linens on the beds, plenty of room to relax and an amazing bathroom. Our room attendants were very accommodating and a pleasure when we saw them. All of the staff we encountered ...

I enjoy Viking cruises because it includes the most stops. I specifically enjoyed the having a few days in Barcelona before beginning the cruise. I enjoyed every stop it's hard to pick one.One of my favorite stops was Sete (Montepiller) France. The port was unique because of all the flowers around the water ways. I also enjoyed the Van Gough excursion was very interesting. Our lunch at I ...

We chose the cruise because we enjoyed the river cruise we took in May of 2017. We also wanted to compare the ocean cruise to Princess ocean cruises. We liked the smaller ship, loved the free laundry. The entertainment was good for a smaller ship. Princess entertainment is extravagant in comparison, due to the fact that they have been around longer and are experienced in it. Their sets are ...
