Always wanted to see the Mediterranean countries, particularly Italy. This was a wonderful cruise starting in Barcelona, Spain and ending in Venice, Italy. Viking Cruise Lines was a awesome experience. The ship is perfectly sized at about 930 passengers (not crowded yet plenty of passengers to interact with). Meals were expertly prepared with several restaurant to choose from. We never had to ...

We loved Viking ocean cruise. We would definitely do another Viking cruise. The sightseeing on this cruise was absolutely beautiful. We did at least 2 excursions a day and it was well worth it! Having a balcony room was wonderful. The service from all of the staff was beyond amazing. The free wine and beer with meals was a nice extra to have. Beautiful ship, just the right size with less than 1,000 guests. Cabin was roomy with a nice size bathroom. Shower even had a ledge to sit on making it easy to shave your legs! Room steward kept the cabin nice & neat. Food was delicious! Tried a few of the specialty dining rooms, but the main dining room was my favorite especially since we ate at the same time every night and enjoyed our ...

What an enjoyable cruise. Each port visit was well planned. Even the port that was added to replace Tunis (which was a dangerous port at the time) was very enjoyable. The crew was great and from multiple countries, like other cruises, but unlike other cruise lines the spoke English we could understand. The food was very good, and lots of variety. The tours were very good, and most tour ...
