another fabulous meals with wonderful friends!
A day in Crete. We did the 4-wheeler/jeep excursion. It didn't disappoint. Beautiful vistas, the fun stops at a family-run cantina along with a couple of other shopping stops. Exceptional Day!

We had not been to some of the countries and we wanted an overview. The shore excursions were all very good and the guides were all very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a wonderful cruise and we enjoyed every moment. Viking Ocean cruises are the VERY best! Lovely accommodation, fabulous crew and absolutely gorgeous ships. We enjoyed the onboard games, the sports deck and the entertainment was ...

Cruise #18 for us and the first with Viking. Barcelona to Stockholm with 11 ports along the way. How do I begin this review, only one way I feel.... Fantastic and undoubtedly our cruise line in future. We have already booked a second this year namely Passage to India - from Greece, to Egypt ,to Oman and India via the Suez Canal. From our very first contact with Vikings Justin Hatcher in your ...

Needless to say, we love Viking. We have taken seven River cruises and this is our first ocean cruise. The ship was fantastic with a 2 to 1 ratio of crew two passengers. The food was great with a large variety to choose from. No suits required! Even offered free room service without additional charges. The included shore excursions were a brief overview and we would often ditch the your and ...

Area covered is of interest. Our son was in Estonia which was an added bonus on the cruise. Enjoyed our Viking River Cruise so wanted to try an ocean cruise. Missed two ports due to weather (Guernsey Island off England) and Denmark due to a previous accident in the canal. Missing these two ports was a real disappointment and the cruise line should address the situation after the cruise has ended. ...

The ship was lovely. Common areas resembled living rooms or casual seating so you felt like you were at home. The broad expanse of windows in the Explorers Lounge was one the favorite gathering spots. The crew were very friendly and called you by your name within a few interactions. Our steward was very attentive and eager to please us. The food was better than most cruise ships ...

Disappointed

We have been on the Sea for 5 days and have not had live tv. They have been very non responsive in explaining the problem. They said that some cabins have it and have given excuses every time i call guest services, but no announcement to the ship to explain the problem. We have been on over 60mcruises , including Viking, and never had this problem other than intermittent outages. I also think ...

Outstanding tour of lots of ports all around Europe. An introduction to the many different cultures. With an included excursion in every port and included speciality restaurants this an exceptional value. We will be sailing on Viking Sky in two weeks and another cruise in August. Viking met us at the airport and within an hour we were embarked and in our stateroom, this left us with time to ...

Loved our first trip (Mediterranean Odyssey 2017) so much, decided on this longer trip soon after arriving home. Hotel Barcelona excellent pre cruise hotel, short cab rides to see the Market, Musica Catalana etc. Embarkation was 15 minutes and on the ship and our room was ready early. Several of the days cruising around the south and west of Spain were rough sea days but only an annoyance and ...

Love the stateroom with high end toiletries, heated floor and the 24 hours room service. The specialty restaurants offers the best tasting menus. Love also the buffet restaurant. The crew were great friendly people. Very courteous and very eager to serve and help. Lost one of my favorite gloves and the crew made an effort to find it. It was found and I felt so special. Special ...

We select cruises based on itinerary and pacing, ship size and cruise line reputation. Viking Ocean did not disappoint! A big selling point for us was that the "Barcelona, Baltic and Beyond" cruise allowed us to stay overnight in several ports; Barcelona, Amsterdam, St. Petersburg and Stockholm. The Viking Sea provided a lovely atmosphere and exceptionally attentive service during this 21 day ...
