I'm a very experienced cruiser, with more than 40 cruises, sailed with all big companies, etc, and cruised before with MSC.
I only bought this Atlantic crossing (Barcelona/Rio de janriro) because i thought was really a good price, US 3000 + 500 US onboard credit for a Suite with Aurea experience.

Veteran cruiser this was our 5th with MSC. Sadly they seem to be going backwards with Entertainment, food and service.
I gave this review 2 stars, out of the dozen or so cruises I have taken this was by far the least enjoyable.

It was the first world cruise for msc. we had done two other world cruises with holland america and costa cruise. When we compered the msc cruise with the other two was very poor in several areas.
Cost: we paid a lot more money for this cruise so we espected more. The cabin with balcony 9080 was very small and impossible to organize clothing and shoes.

We boarded in Barcelona on a Transatlantic to Brazil. To start applying for the Brazilian Visa was a big hassle which took over 3 weeks to finalize. Boarding process was not too bad but there were a lot of confusion at the beginning. Once on-board, the ship is showing its age but appears clean and staff is friendly.
