The worse cruise we have been on

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

We chose this cruise because in the brochure it looked very nice, with a large pool, and as it was our 25th anniversary we chose accommodation with a large balcony. The accommodation was quite nice with lots of cupboard space and although we asked for twin beds we had a large king size - the bathroom was very small and if you are a big person the shower would be impossible to fit into. The cabin ...

We wanted a cruise that visited the ports of Venice, Dubrovnik and Barcelona and this one fit the bill. The ship was disappointing - we sailed on the Royal Princess last year and that was a far superior experience in every sense. The onboard experience was dull and uninspiring from the shops to the entertainment and the food. The excursions that we organized externally were great and ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I have been on several cruises on different cruise lines. Norwegian is by far the worst so far. Here is why: 1.) In the first few days frozen deck drinks actually had some booze in them. I'm not a drunkard, but I like to have a couple drinks to just chill. With two I was relaxed. But in the last 3-4 days, I noted the same drinks had almost no booze in them. To verify this, I went to the ...

We chose this cruise as my parents cruise with them regularly. We saw it as a safe bet and I wanted everything to be perfect for our Wedding anniversary and my wife 50th birthday. I want to be clear, we are not picky perfectionists. We have realistic expectations when it comes to hotels etc and don't go around with white gloves inspecting behind beds etc. We upgraded to a cabin with a ...

Cabin: I traveled with my children. Their beds are not comfortable enough. Dinning: If you want visit a restaurant you have to pay additional cost. Even in your dinning plan (paid already) if you want to eat some plates, also you have to pay more. I want to buy one day of drink package and they said I have to buy at least two days. I talked with the beverage manager and he said "this is the ...

We were very curious about Oceania, and all the brochures that were piling up from the mail piqued our interest as well. We actually thought we were their targeted demographic; our WSJ had brochures enclosed weekly. Also, a few years ago, while at an awards ceremony on another line, the well-traveled couple next to us suggested we'd love Oceania. So on May 21, there we were, efficiently boarding ...

There was no tea or coffee available after breakfast for the remainder of the day accept on sea days when tea and coffee was available late afternoon. We had to purchase tea or coffee outside those times. When purchasing anything there was a 15% surcharge on top of the cost of the item. There was a 20 euro per person per day gratuity surcharge. No butter for bread freely available ...

I thought it would be of high standard, very suppised the main entertainment was not professional standard, The food was similar menu each day,the staff were really friendly other than the arrogant manager. It was lovely meeting lots of wonderful people around the world who made it such a wonderful holiday. When our cabin flooded in the middle of the night, they tried to charge us for ...

My wife and I booked this cruise about 100 days out for our first year anniversary. We're from the U.S. and previously took the Western Caribbean cruise on the NCL Dawn in 2015. Despite being a much older, smaller ship, with a less attractive itinerary, we much preferred the Dawn to the Epic. Here's a list of pros and cons for the Epic: PROs: 1) Entertainment: "Priscilla, Queen of the ...
