We spent 3 days prior to sailing in Barcelona. What a lovely city! Embarkation and disembarkation were both quick and smooth. The staff all over the ship were very helpful and always smiling. The service at all bars and restaurants was great with very little wait times. The food was excellent everywhere we went with a good selection to choose from.

We boarded in Barcelona Spain with ports of call in Gibraltar, Sete, Nice, Florence and Corsica for a 9 day cruise. The ship could use a refresh, but everything was clean and well cared for. We always wanted to cruise the Med so this was our retirement treat. Prior to the cruise we had a great CC rollcall and so we met the night before sailing and forged some good friendships for on board.

This was technically a 22 day cruise, but we only did the 11 day portion of Barcelona to Rome. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary plus the price and the perks were good.
