We chose infinity after traveling on solstice and we're very impressed. Sadly the infinity is no where near the same class. It is shabby and much of the decks are rusty.
The food in main dining room can only be described as school dinner type food. Very little choice and basic . The entertainment in bars is again very basic with little audience engagement.
The staff work very hard but ...
main dining room service was excellent. Food was just ok. there were options every day for grilled salmon and chicken. steak looked burnt and very thin. menu was not very exciting. one night's options included duck, lobster, beef wellington, and lamb. other nights not as exciting. servers were excellent and very accommodating. wine steward very helpful and ready to assist us every night. cabin ...
The Heating did not work and there was loud constant noise in the cabin. Other passengers also experienced similar problems . Guest relations were aware of this but presented as though this was the first time it had happened. Technicians tried to fix this but this resulting in a burning smell throughout. We were then offered an indoor cabin with even louder noise issues than the previous one. ...
Ship is badly in need of an update and suffered numerous mechanical and scheduling issues on the 10 Night Spain/Portugal trip.
Staff did their best but seem to be significantly under-staffed compared to pre-Covid levels so service siffers. Persian Garden was only 25% operational and priority embarkation seems to be only available at beginning and end of cruise.
The cost of the Retreat is ...
The cruise was meant to be a relaxing break and booked a Concierge cabin that was partially obscured.
On boarding we were left to our own devices, no assistance in finding our way to the cabin and when in the cabin no information on or where the welcome aboard lunch was being held. The concierge cabin was no different to other standard balcony cabins. The glass in the veranda had a crack ...
I hadn't cruised with Costa before, but with 5 other lines. The itinerary (Spain to Brazil) interested me as a biologist and natural history photographer, and the price was very reasonable, probably because the relocation nature and the lack of port visits meant the ship was (according to the crew) about half empty. My double cabin, for one person and no single supplement, was outstanding value ...
know we have enough but Cunard is dropping there offer and standards! Cost saving

- No Welcome drinks party from the captain! But was on the Victoria in July and they did the party- so why not now

We decided to cruise on the Seabourn, having only done one other cruise with them. We did back to back cruises, starting in Barcelona and ending in Rome 20 days in all.Embarkation was good. The ship softgoods (interiors of cabins} very very tired. They were in dry dock during Covid, and it would have been a good job to re-do those dark cabins, with lighter fabric. Our penthouse suite was very ...
This was a memorial cruise following the deaths of both of our parents. I went with my sister, brother and his wife. We paid $40,000 for the two cabins on the Regent SS Voyager for the trip from Barcelona to Lisbon. June 25 to July 2, 2023. It was not the top quality we had paid for. It was quite disappointing
1. Lack of communications and zero organization regarding flight check ins and ...
This was our first – and last – cruise on Azamara. We’ve been on about 15 cruises on five different cruise lines, but we’ve never had such a miserable experience with a cruise company’s office and corporate personnel before. Apparently, the transition from being a part of Royal Caribbean to independence has been a rocky one. The website almost never worked, and I spent days and hours on hold ...
