I wanted to try Regent's new ship Explorer and the transatlantic crossing gave me lots of sea days to explore the ship. We also had some interesting ports of call in Madeira and Spain.

Everything about this cruise was amazing and exceeded our expectations in every way. The ship, the service, the cabin, the fine dining, the casual dining, the pool area, the entertainment and shore excursions were all as described or better!
My favourite restaurants were Prime 7 and Compass Rose, which does not require a booking and is also fabulous for a 'posh' breakfast!
