Good itinerary and great staff on board

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Sirena

We chose this cruise in order to see specific ports including Barcelona, Seville, Oporto, Bordeaux and Bilbao. We chose Oceania specifically for the itinerary, small size of ship and reputation for a top notch cruise ship with excellent food and personal service. We signed up for several excursions and planned a few private excursions with our traveling companions. We found the staff on board ...

Good and Bad Time On Sirenca

We had sailed previously on the Marina and had a good cruise. Oceania offered an itinerary for Iberian and French Charisma that appealed to us. Unfortunately, due to weather delays in Denver, we did not arrive in Barcelona until 8:30 PM, which was after the Sirena had sailed. As we had booked our flights and transfers through Oceania, we were confident that someone would meet us at the airport ...

Never Again

As a couple who has cruised many times on HAL, Norwegian, Celebrity, Princess, Viking and Windstar, we decided to look into Oceania as their smaller ship with exceptional food and service reputation appealed to us. Much of the cruise was not only disappointing, but actually frustrating. Our boarding passes stated that our embarkation time would be at 6:30 p.m. There were two busloads of ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, the smaller ship size, the expectation of great food and service, and our past experience with Oceania. The cruise overall was wonderful. The ship was clean, our penthouse suite was amazing, and the ports were awesome! This was our first time visiting Spain and Portugal and we loved it! Embarkation was a disappointment. We asked numerous times ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary - Barcelona to Miami in 17 days. This was our first time on Oceania and our second cruise ever. This is considered a smaller ship with only ~600 passengers - we liked the smaller size. This ship was re-done in 2019 so everything was lovely, clean, and fresh and decorated in calming colors. We had great weather most of the trip with only one rain ...

Great ship but not for us

We selected the Oceania Sirena because of timing for our 4 back to back European cruises. Over on the QM2, then Viking, then Oceania. The Oceania Sirena is a beautiful jewel box of a ship, just beautiful. The cabin was small for a concierge verandah, bathroom was ridiculous. Saw many guests going to the spa in bathrobes to shower daily. Linens and bed wonderful. After paying $13k for a cruise on ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. We did private party excursions at most of the stops. We very seldom will take the overpriced cruise line excursions. Most of the stops were places that we had not been. Yes, the rooms were small, but it's a small ship. We liked the size of the ship. This was our first time on the "R" class. We were in a concierge class veranda. We liked the location on ...

We definitely prefer smaller ships like Sirena; beautifully refurbished, great!

We picked this Oceania cruise because of its itinerary, in particular Al Hambra, Canary Islands and Tangiers (among others). We were lucky to score stateroom 6004 (port side very near the sharp end), which whilst having no balcony, had instead added interior space, making for a larger cabin. We appreciated the extra space as we were travelling for 2 months and had lots of luggage. Sirena has ...

Absolutely incredible!!!! The room size was great as was the size of the bathroom. The Bulgari amenities are a lovely touch. You event have a choice of the scent that is placed in your room. Sirena is a lovely ship and her crew ensured that we had a perfect experience!!! We are so happy with our sailing we have rebooked with Oceania on the Marina for 2019. The ports were wonderful on ...

We were on two back-to-back cruises on the Sirena for a total of six weeks. This is the first time we have been on a ship this small and learned that you have to give to get. On the first leg of our cruise the ship was only 2/3 full, so we were upgraded to a balcony. It was a nice size and the bed and linens were wonderful. I think Oceania has the best beds at sea. The cabin attendants were ...
