Sirena, a lot less than expected.
"We booked this cruise as a result of an excellent previous Oceania cruise (on Riviera) and corporate publicity for their 'new' ship. I will endeavour to be honest and truthful with regard to my comments and facts...."Read More

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary - Barcelona to Miami in 17 days. This was our first time on Oceania and our second cruise ever. This is considered a smaller ship with only ~600 passengers - we liked the smaller size. This ship was re-done in 2019 so everything was lovely, clean, and fresh and decorated in calming colors. We had great weather most of the trip with only one rain ...

We definitely prefer smaller ships like Sirena; beautifully refurbished, great!

We picked this Oceania cruise because of its itinerary, in particular Al Hambra, Canary Islands and Tangiers (among others). We were lucky to score stateroom 6004 (port side very near the sharp end), which whilst having no balcony, had instead added interior space, making for a larger cabin. We appreciated the extra space as we were travelling for 2 months and had lots of luggage. Sirena has ...

Great ship but not for us

We selected the Oceania Sirena because of timing for our 4 back to back European cruises. Over on the QM2, then Viking, then Oceania. The Oceania Sirena is a beautiful jewel box of a ship, just beautiful. The cabin was small for a concierge verandah, bathroom was ridiculous. Saw many guests going to the spa in bathrobes to shower daily. Linens and bed wonderful. After paying $13k for a cruise on ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. We did private party excursions at most of the stops. We very seldom will take the overpriced cruise line excursions. Most of the stops were places that we had not been. Yes, the rooms were small, but it's a small ship. We liked the size of the ship. This was our first time on the "R" class. We were in a concierge class veranda. We liked the location on ...

We were on two back-to-back cruises on the Sirena for a total of six weeks. This is the first time we have been on a ship this small and learned that you have to give to get. On the first leg of our cruise the ship was only 2/3 full, so we were upgraded to a balcony. It was a nice size and the bed and linens were wonderful. I think Oceania has the best beds at sea. The cabin attendants were ...

Absolutely incredible!!!! The room size was great as was the size of the bathroom. The Bulgari amenities are a lovely touch. You event have a choice of the scent that is placed in your room. Sirena is a lovely ship and her crew ensured that we had a perfect experience!!! We are so happy with our sailing we have rebooked with Oceania on the Marina for 2019. The ports were wonderful on ...

We chose this cruise because we had been on a very busy cruise on Oceania Riviera Barcelona to Barcelona for ten days then spent 4 days in Barcelona before embarking on the Sirena. We wanted some R&R and also wanted to avoid the jet lag by having gradual time changes. The ship was very clean as was our cabin, always cleaning somewhere on the ship. Our cabin staff were so friendly polite and ...

Great Weather...Bad Beef

I love Oceania Cruises but, not sure I like European beef. We sailed from Barcelona, Spain to Miami, Florida. While the cruise was good...the beef on board was way below standard. Being a meat manager...I believe the beef was either European or US Select grade. This was based on two steak meals in the Tuscan Steakhouse and multiple occasions in the Main Dining Room and the Terrace Café. Service ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary, even though we have been to some of these ports before, there were many new ports of call. The food and service in the Red Ginger and the Tuscan Steakhouse specialty restaurants has been beyond expectations. The food and service in the Grand Dinning Room has been good to excellent. The food and service in the Terrace Cafe has been good to average. Many of ...

food was fabulous but felt more like a floating nursing home than a cruise ship - walkers, wheelchairs, canes, braces etc. - excursions a nightmare cause all we did was wait for folks who were unable to walk at a normal pace or had to go to the bathroom every hour - had been on the riviera previously and loved it but this cruise was disaster - worst part was having crew members on their hands and ...
