"Oceania is not known for its entertainment but what we saw was good if a bit tired (some shows were repeated from our Bermuda cruise a year ago), This was frustrating as the entertainers were very talented and it seems they could have excelled with better material. This was our second Oceania cruise and our previous experience on a seven-day New York to Bermuda cruise on the Insignia had prepared us for what we viewed as the line's strengths and weaknesses...."Read More

1-10 of 93 Oceania Riviera Cruise Reviews for Gourmet Food to the Mediterranean from Barcelona
We ate long time cruisers with Oceania but now a lost customer!
We booked this cruise in 2019 for 2020 travel dates. Alas pandemic curtailed those plans until this year. We in fact booked a 30 day cruise Barcelona to Dubai - never being informed that it was 2 back to back cruises - first issue as this was the start of lack of communication and guest satisfaction,
We were advised of ...
We have completed our 20th cruise, fourth on Oceania.
After sailing on 11 different lines, Oceania remains our favorite line.
Service was exceptional . No request was refused. Very prompt responses at all venues during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our cabin steward Daria was excellent. Always friendly, everything refilled promptly, cabin always in very good shape. No issues to get coffee, ...
I am sorry to say that in spite of fabulous food, a wonderful cabin and food crew, and amazing staterooms, I would never go on an Oceania Cruise again. The management staff (with the exception of the concierge) as non-existent. The support staff at the desks were not only rude and uncaring, they would not go one step further than absolutely necessary to correct a horrible situation. Things ...
This was our second Oceania cruise and our previous experience on a seven-day New York to Bermuda cruise on the Insignia had prepared us for what we viewed as the line's strengths and weaknesses. Its greatest strength is the food, we never had a disappointing meal in any of the venues. Red Ginger was amazing and Jacques was very good. If we had one complaint about the food is that desserts and ...
We have sailed Oceania many times before and it was excellent. This time the food (which was their number 1 attraction) was very substandard. For example the famous Sea Bass in Red Ginger used to be the best we ever experienced. This time the flavors were different and the thickness if the Sea Bass was half of what it was.
The crew seemed inexperienced and not totally trained.
Our cabin ...
I chose this cruise for the itinerary and because for my 50th birthday I wanted a luxury cruise with wonderful food. My spouse and I encouraged our friends to tag along and they spent more than we usually would for the Oceania experience. The ship and concierge rooms we had were nice enough, we also enjoyed the small ship feel and ease of embarking and disembarking each time.
Most of the ...
We chose this cruise to be with friends, and for the opportunity to visit ports and countries in the Mediterranean for the first time. We boarded in Barcelona, sailed for 17 nights, and disembarked in Malta. We unfortunately caught covid two days before the end of the cruise, and had to quarantine onboard, and for an additional week in Malta. Oceania did not handle this issue completely to our ...
I had chosen Oceania because of their highly rated cuisine. This cruise did not disappoint. We are first time cruisers with this line and this itinerary. From start to finish...the room, the wait staff, the cuisine, the excursions, the overall atmosphere of understated elegance. So many places to sit and enjoy the cruise life and even dealing with the nitty gritty (laundrettes on each floor ...
It covered 9 ports in Spain alone.
And had a terrific small as well as larger ports. We did not use the cruise line’s tours but booked thru Spain Day Tours which were really terrific and we’re less costly than the ships’.
The food was excellent and except for Red Ginger (where the service and food was not great) all the other venues were top notch. Embarkation and disembarkation were very ...
We selected this cruise, because other friends were going.
There were very few children in this cruise. It is more for mature adults and senior citizens
The Riviera is an excellent ship.
Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly.
The kitchen took a long time to serve at night and it was very difficult to be on time for entertainment and other activities.
As a general rule, the ...
