Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

We had a one week layover between two cruises in Barcelona and instead staying in hotels, decided to take this cruise. We are an older couple with 60+ cruises under our belt. Based on the many negative reviews on this board, we did not set our expectations too high. But we were pleasantly surprised. This is a beautiful, modern ship with state with the art high tech features. It appears to ...

I wanted to take my wife to tour Italy. This ship had 3 ports in Italy and we love to cruise. It was a great fit! It was our first time on MSC and we sailed in the Yacht Club. It was such a dream! The views in the Topsail were incredible and the service was superior to anything I’d experienced before. Mauricio, the YC Matre D was fantastic and cared about all the little details. Our Buer, ...

This was our second cruise with msc. Once again I cannot fault them. Everything was amazing from the food to the price of the cruise. The staff are so friendly and so helpful. A very special praise to Noman from the bar service. He just went above and beyond for us. We ate in the sliver dolphin our waiters Mark and Gerldine were lovely. Full of knowledge from wine to the food. The food was ...

Already at home after 2 years of cancellations and changes of ships and itineraries, finally I was able to cruise the western Mediterranean again, this time on the MSC Seaview, and finally enjoy a few days in Barcelona. It was not the ship initially planned, but I had a very good impression of the Seaview, better than I expected. It is a big ship, but full of nooks and crannies, so everyone can ...

This was our first cruise, and whilst we booked it when we were a little tipsy, so glad we did. This was a holiday to celebrate my 40th... This was a Barcelona round trip. We stayed in the city the night before and had an extra night once we left the ship. Barcelona is a great city I've been to several times before so would recommend that. Embarkation was a breeze. As we had Aurea ...

I am currently on this cruise with my husband, taking a break from the heat in Corsica. I wanted to write a review because I'd seen negative reviews online and I am just baffled as to how people would have any negative comments about this ship.. it is absolutely stunning to look at, the most beautiful design in all bars and public spaces, plenty of seating areas everywhere, it's spotlessly clean ...

I loved almost everything about MSC. My other experience of a cruise is Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas. I would say the major differences in US and European cruises are the food and entertainment. Royal Caribbean had more food outlets but much lower quality. MSC food from the free dining was stellar even at 1 in the morning. The formal dining rooms were s good standard, meals didn't take too ...

We have been loyal NCL cruisers for years and decided to try MSC for a 20th anniversary cruise. We had never been in the Med, and booked a Yacht Club balcony cabin. The ship was BEAUTIFUL, the service was excellent. I loved that you were never presented with a bill or a receipt to sign for drinks etc when we were in the Yacht Club. All of the staff really seemed to go out of their way to make ...

Superb embarkation at Barcelona straight onto the ship, this ship like other newer MSC ships is fantastic it has a great feel to it & instantly relaxing. It started badly though due to rough weather we didn’t sail for Ajaccio and spent the night in Barcelona for me the right decision made However the ship during this weather where everyone had to stop inside was a little bit busy but ok ...
