First of all, it was a new launched ship and out first cruise, so we thought to begin with a new and large one. We got a balcony cabin, it was very, very nice but we didn't spend much time on it. Only few minutes in the morning, in the evenings when it starts to sail you are maybe at dinner and after that it's pitch black outside. And very windy too.
The ship is huge and spectacular. The food ...
My husband and I booked this cruise as friends of ours had already booked. We had never cruised before so after booking we started ready reviews about MSC Seaview. There were so many negative reviews that we feared we would have a terrible experience. Well, nothing could be further from the truth. The embarkation and disembarkation process was flawless. We did not encounter one staff member ...
This was our first cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I cannot understand why people on here say they experienced an unfriendly atmosphere and complain about the food/cleanliness and the staff. We experienced exactly the opposite. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The cabins were very clean and cabin staff so approacheable. Everywhere was impeccably clean and luxurious looking. There ...
We chose this ship as it was brand new. We typically sail Disney but this offer was too hard to pass up. I would highly recommend sailing via yacht club. From the private butler to the private lounge, dining, service, it just made financial sense to book via yacht club. I would NOT book the regular rooms. It is way too crowded and sun chairs and pools were crowded. The lineup to use the elevators ...
We are avid cruisers having been on over 10 cruises in the past 8 years. Lines we have been on are Norwegian (Breakaway, Escape and Jade) Royal (Oasis, Allure, Navigator) and Disney, Carnival, Holland and Princess. We selected MSC for three reasons...the itinerary, the brand new ship and the value (we got the yacht club experience for less than that of a standard balcony on Royal's Symphony) We ...
As a family of 6 (4 children) we decided to take a cruise around the Med. We chose MSC Seaview because it was a new ship and looked fantastic on the internet. It did not disappoint. It was huge and beautiful (I know, it's a piece of metal), but it was jaw dropping. MSC gathered our bags from the taxi and that was that, we never saw them again until we went to our cabin. Checking in was easy ...
Choose this cruise because of it being a new ship with a variety of activities to suit our different age groups and I can say without conviction that it covered everything that we were looking for . Great experience from embarkment which was very efficient, we were on the ship within 30min s
entertainment was to suit every taste with a huge variety.
We only dined in our allocated ...
The new Seaview ship looked irresistible on website. We had to do this one and we had no regrets. It was worth every cent !!! The food was outstanding quality and we were very happy with our waiters. Our Cabin was neat and well decorated. We always had clean towels and our cabin was serviced twice a day. When we entered our Cabin, it was always clean and fresh. Occasionally, we ordered room ...
We, h&w and 18/19 y/o daughters just disembarked from a great week on Seaview. We flew from New York and spent a day and night in Barcelona (hop on/hop off bus was great for our jet-lagged selves to get an overview of that lovely city). We overnighted at the Hilton Barcelona which was fine. The next day we took a taxi from our hotel to the Seaview arriving around 12noon. Easy embarkation- they ...
We chose the MSC Seaview for a family vacation. We embarked at Barcelona - the process took about an hour, but was fairly well organised. Our bags arrived in our room an hour after embarkation. Our balcony cabin was well designed and comfortable, though a little small. Closet space was adequate (plenty of hangers too btw) though smaller than most hotel rooms. The bathroom was well laid out, with a ...
