Great First MSC Cruise in Yacht Club
"I initially booked an ocean view room, but as I researched further, we rebooked in the Yacht Club due to the extra's they throw in (unlimited drinks, wifi package, butler service, priority embarkation and disembarkation, etc), and boy, what a great decision this ended up being. If you are considering Yacht Club, don't sleep on the following benefits, which were our favorites: * Priority on and off the ship...."Read More

We had a one week layover between two cruises in Barcelona and instead staying in hotels, decided to take this cruise. We are an older couple with 60+ cruises under our belt. Based on the many negative reviews on this board, we did not set our expectations too high. But we were pleasantly surprised. This is a beautiful, modern ship with state with the art high tech features. It appears to ...

Yacht Club fails to deliver for children and us

My four children shared two cabins on the MSC Seaview in the Yacht Club so they weren’t bunking in with us. We were assured by MSC that “everything” was included. They couldn’t stress this enough. Yet they can’t get icecreams, or have any free inclusions in the games arcade. As they can’t drink the included alcohol this seems unreasonable. The staff are lovely and the rooms whilst not big are ...

Smoking!

SMOKING!!! The stench of cigarette smoke onboard is disgusting. There is meant to be a smoking policy that restricts smoking to the starboard side of the ship and the casino. There is no smoking allowed in cabins of on balconies. Someone forgot to tell the majority of the staff as people were smoking anywhere they liked and the smell was awful. The only time I seen smokers being challenge was ...

HORRIBLE, RACIST, SEXIST.

MSC Seaview - HORRIBLE, RACIST, SEXIST. MSC Cruise line is horrible. It was a waste of my time and money. Dealing with the reception and excursion staff is a little difficult because the communication with the MSC head office is not good, therefore lots of the staff don’t even know what’s going on. My assumption is that the problem is corporate and a lack of training. The cleaning and waitstaff ...

Great First MSC Cruise in Yacht Club

We initially booked this cruise based on the itinerary. As this was a first trip to Europe, the port cities, including Barcelona, Genoa, Rome, and Palma de Mallorca, were enticing. I initially booked an ocean view room, but as I researched further, we rebooked in the Yacht Club due to the extra's they throw in (unlimited drinks, wifi package, butler service, priority embarkation and ...

The MSC SeaView ship itself is a luxury vessel with generally nice staff except for those working in reception which the conveniently located right beside a bar with live singing so you can’t hear or explain anything in English to Spanish staff which should be fluent in English Every day our ship payment cruise card was blocked or denied even after adding €950 on it by debit card We were ...

I wanted to take my wife to tour Italy. This ship had 3 ports in Italy and we love to cruise. It was a great fit! It was our first time on MSC and we sailed in the Yacht Club. It was such a dream! The views in the Topsail were incredible and the service was superior to anything I’d experienced before. Mauricio, the YC Matre D was fantastic and cared about all the little details. Our Buer, ...

We had already booked an extended stay in Spain. We were going to be in Barcelona on May 13 and noticed there was a cruise departing on that day with an interesting itinerary. We have been on more than 10 cruises, with Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Windstar etc but never with MSC. we chose an inside cabin, which we never had before, and the early sitting for dinner, although we had seen on the ...

Unfortunately when we booked this cruise we were unaware that the passenger profile were primarily very conservative Brazilians, and as a gay couple felt very uncomfortable. Also all the entertainment was more focused on Brazil - which is ok if it was good, but it wasn't The cruise with all the extras cost us 1OK and we wish we had just flown to Rio direct The food on the cruise was also ...

I'm a very experienced cruiser, with more than 40 cruises, sailed with all big companies, etc, and cruised before with MSC. I only bought this Atlantic crossing (Barcelona/Rio de janriro) because i thought was really a good price, US 3000 + 500 US onboard credit for a Suite with Aurea experience. Check-in were smooth , although in my reservation and MSC app the embarkation time was ...
