30 night Relocation voyage from Barcelona to Singapore. Embarkation was quick and straightforward due to priority check in.The suite was well appointed with coffee making machine, dressing room, enormous shower with rain shower and plenty of hot water, twin vanity basins plus heaps of storage space. Spotless cabin and large balcony under the control of Marvin the Butler. The suite included all ...

We were in Silver Suit #9236: a balcony by the mid ship elevator. I thought it was a great location near the Stabilizers. We hardly felt any motion from Barcelona to Dubai. We ate Br, Lu and Dn in the Silver Dining Room every day from Day 2 onward. We could have had Lu the first day, but we didn’t know the Silver Dining Room was open till we got to our cabin. I called about Dn the first ...

Now is a good time to write my overall cruise review. We have 4 sea days and two port days left before we get off in Singapore. The cruise has gone blindingly fast. Let's start this in the usual way: THE GOOD The itinerary for this trip has been a cultural smorgasbord. From Spain through Italy and Greece, through Jordan and the middle east to Dubai and the Arab rich. Oman to see more ...

Smooth sailing in the Mediterranean

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Majestic Princess

We've cruised on all three ships in this class on their maiden voyages. While we had an excellent cruise, the Majestic fell short of our expectations given our experiences on the Royal and Regal although the cruising portion went very smoothly. We chose this voyage based upon the destination ports of call and the offered excursions through Princess and our expectation that as a sister ship ...

Smelled Like a New Car

Review for a Asia Cruise on Majestic Princess

The Majestic Princess was beautiful. It was so shiny and new and smelled like a new car. We loved the décor and the newness of the ship. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. There were plenty of elevators and the staff was wonderful. The cruise was quieter that most that I have been on perhaps because there was such a mix of people. Many Chinese and many Australians. There was very ...

Barcelona to Dubai on the Refurbished Voyageur

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We chose this line for its diverse itinerary for our 10th anniversary celebration. The Voyageur had just been renovated and so a refreshed ship added to the draw to be on it. Our suite was lovely and having a glass enclosed shower was a delight. Initial problems the first few days such as slow dining service were due to one-third of the staff being new to the ship and the new use of ...

We needed to go to Europe for family reasons and being Australian, this cruise took us a good part of the way home. Despite having traveled a great deal, a number of the ports and side trips were places we had previously missed and this was a very convenient way to link them together. The all-inclusive nature was also attractive to us. Passengers: The passengers were largely American, but most ...

Interesting Ports on a Beautiful Ship

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Ovation of the Seas

Destinations were interesting from Barcelona via Suez canal to Singapore on a back to back cruise. Petra was a good shore excursion which was otherwise difficult to see. Other shore excursions were also well organised and interesting. The ship was the newest cruise ship in the world at the time and still had the "new car" look and feel. The staff were excellent and being a new ship, every port ...

Great Experience, but Some Problems

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Ovation of the Seas

We boarded the ship in Barcelona & sailed for 45 nights, all the way to Tianjin. Boarding was efficient & took about 15 minutes. We chose this cruise for the itinerary & for the experience of sailing on a new ship. Overall the experience was great, but there were some very big problems. First the good stuff. I found both the ship and the cabins to be lovely. We had a balcony cabin on deck 7. ...
