This was our ninth cruise and second on Liberty, The ship and cabin and public areas as always were lovely, clean and fresh. Point of reference: this was my 9th cruise with Royal Caribbean
Overall it was ok...but no wow moments or anything to rave about.
Embarkation: Was really smooth (arrived at 12pm) - Barcelona has a great terminal and infrastructure.
Photography: Neat feature was they usually swiped your sea pass card when they took pictures of you. Then you could go to a kiosk and call up the pictures they took ...

On my prior cruises I had incredible experiences. I found literally one person that had a great attitude. He was the bar server at dinner. The other bartenders and servers rarely even smiled. It was so disappointing. Not one person on our entire trip could say that they had a great experience.

The ship, the ship; what to write about THE SHIP?
The statistics are overwhelming. Bigger than an aircraft carrier and not quite the biggest in the world (Oasis of the seas and 5,400 passengers), but immense just the same. 1,112 feet long, 185 feet wide, 160,000 tons and 4,400 passengers and 1,360 crew. Whew! That's big. But too big for me.

We went on Liberty of the seas on Mediterranean cruise round trip from Barcelona on Sept 01; 2012.Liberty of the seas is a beautiful ship with a lot of different things to do for everyone. My husband and I booked this cruise for our anniversary celebration. It was my second trip to Europe and his first. We arrived in Barcelona a day early and had a good time.
Embarkation: We arrived at the port around 1 p.m. and it was very crowded so would avoid at 1pm.. (by 2 p.m., there were no crowds). It took approximately an hour from arrival at port to getting to Windjammer.
