We really enjoyed our first cruise. We are a married couple in our early thirties and we're not really interested in "lie on a beach" type holidays. To make it easier, I'll break this review into categories.
Barcelona: H10 Universitat in Barcelona - Great hotel in a really good location. Our room was fab but to be fair we did get upgraded to a suite!
Loved Barcelona. Needed more than a day ...
Liberty was an interesting ship. Everything felt clean, new, modern but somehow cheap as well. I didn't get a palpable sense of luxury here. Food options were disappointing. The Windjammer and Jade buffets were abysmally bad. Some of the worst food I've tasted, competing with hospitals and retirement homes. Chops, on the other hand, was excellent, on par with any Chicago steakhouse. The main ...
We went on Liberty of the seas on Mediterranean cruise round trip from Barcelona on Sept 01; 2012.Liberty of the seas is a beautiful ship with a lot of different things to do for everyone. The promenade is wonderful with a lot of different bars and shops along the promenade. There are different parades and captain's welcome reception taken place there. The best place on promenade is the wine bar. ...

Liberty of the Seas 9/22/12-9/29/12
A little about us. It was my husband Jerry (48) and my (49) 2nd anniversary cruise. It has always been my dream to cruise the Mediterranean and especially see Rome. My wonderful husband made this dream a reality. We booked this cruise in October of 2011 so I had 11 months of planning. I immediately joined the roll call, which had 3 other people already, and ...
We loved the Liberty of the Sea's ship. Did not see any of the shows. Ate mostly at Windjammer--a lot of delicious choices.
Took a car service to the ship from the airport. Check-in was quick!
Provence, France--Did the ship tour Olive oil tasting and visit to Le Castellet. The tour started at noon-so we had time to relax and ease into the time zone change. The tour was good-we had free time ...
Our tour started in Amman, Jordan and we flew into Barcelona two days earlier on Royal Jordanian. We were 12 people, mostly seniors, but a three forty and under. Barcelona is a great starting point, and the boarding process was so efficient and organized! The Liberty of the Seas is so large it took us days to find ourselves and the features we could enjoy. But the food--variety, selection and ...
We loved this trip. Liberty of the Seas is a beautiful boat. Rarely felt crowded and there was lots to do. We had an oceanview cabin (had booked an interior stateroom) but given free upgrade. We thought it was fine - plenty space etc.
Loved the Saturday Night Fever show and appreciated the other entertainment that was available although never got too into it.
The food was only OK though in ...
The liberty is clean friendly safe and the service was so wonderful. Facilities from the windjammer and main beautiful restaurant were brilliant. Lots of choice in windjammer for breakfast English bacon sausage baked beans eggs freshly cooked to your choice and omelettes beautiful. French toast, waffles pancakes with chocolate and strawberry sauce fruit like you have never seen.

Just home from a wonderful first cruise with Royal Caribbean on Liberty of the Seas. From the moment we arrived on board we were treated like royalty it was unreal. Having never cruised before we were unsure what to expect. We travelled with my elderly parents who have cruised many times before, and our 13 year old son. I must admit I thought cruises were for older people but I couldn't have ...
