I really enjoyed this cruise

I have been on 18 cruises, but never longer than 7 days. This was my 1st longer cruise and my 1st transatlantic cruise. EMBARKATION: I arrived at the port in Barcelona with a fellow passenger who spoke Spanish. Somewhow, that got us priority boarding. We walked right up to counter, got our cruise cards and walked right onto the ship. I think were were onboard within 10 ...

This was our first experience with Viking. We had considered a River Cruise for 2024 but changed our minds. Mid summer we received an email from Viking that had several cruises at the end of the year that included International Air. This being a Transatlantic Cruise with a great price. I wasn't sure how we would stay busy for one stretch of 6 days across the Atlantic. We found plenty to do, ...

Seashore is very dirty

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seashore

Seashore is very dirty, full of soot/ tar. We have videos and we like that people can see this. MSC is pretending that the Seashore is a very clean ship, it’s not and we can prove that. We are not the only ones with complains! We still do get money from MSC, we have still got money on the account, but MSC is not paying automatically paying back our own money. It’s for 9 weeks ago we did ask our ...

We embarked on 27th October 23 in Marseille. On arriving at 11am at port we were surprised to find the ship wasn't there, our booking only showed sailing at 6pm so a little surprised, however it arrived at 12pm and we checked in Yacht Club desk shortly after and were on board at 1.30pm in time for lunch. Only as we decided not to wait for a butler incase we missed out. This was our 5th Yacht Club ...

A wonderful ocean crossing

I have cruised with Viking before; my new boyfriend has been a Seabourn cruiser. We chose this repositioning cruise because of the good price and the itinerary. I was not sure what to expect in the mid-Atlantic in December, but we enjoyed temperatures in the high 70s, clear skies and smooth seas. We had a very relaxing time. My boyfriend found the food to be better than he had expected; I enjoyed ...

Rather Disappointing

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Viking Sea

This was our second Viking Ocean (first was in 2019) , but we have been on Seabourn , Azamara and Regent, so at 900 guests , we consider this a "larger" ship. The guests were 90 % Americans , with only 36 Brits. Whilst the ship is impeccable, not a spot of dirt or rust anywhere , we were less happy with a couple of areas that are important for us, and felt these had deteriorated since ...

Not as good as pre covid

Overall very enjoyable but we had a few little niggles . Despite the sailing being in December and ending only a week before Christmas day, the only decoration was a gingerbread village that appeared half way. Meanwhile we were seeing other ships in the fleet beautifully decorated on social media. Various items were unavailable, particularly the choice of sugar free soft drinks was Coke ...

Less than expected.

We chose this cruise as our traveling companions wanted to experience a total luxury cruise. Unfortunately, our experience was less than total luxury. Our first disappointment was with the air travel to Barcelona. United canceled one of our flights less than 30 days before departure. Instead of a reasonable layover we now had to wait close to 7 hours before beginning our red eye international ...

We originally had our trip scheduled for 2020, but due to COVID it was rescheduled twice. In November 2021, we finally were able to go! There were a lot of things closed on the ship, you had to book the spa and only for an hour, we only got to go once. We did the COVID test everyday and wore masks when in groups, The staff was AMAZING dealing with all the rules of covid and making sure we had ...

Horrendous Cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Seaview

Initially cruise seemed to be a very good deal, 21nights from Barcelona but as soon as we landed at Barcelona the chaos commenced, MSC staff greeted us but there were no buses to transport us to the port, waited over a hour with no explanation offered. On arrival on MSC SEAVIEW we somehow managed to get our cruise pass without taking a mandatory covid test, once we pointed this out we were ...
