We came back yesterday having spent a couple of days in Barcelona and then a 12-night cruise on the Celebrity Infinity sailing to Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma, Casablanca, Tangier, Cadiz, Valencia, Barcelona. The Infinity is the very first ship we ever sailed on, and now with many cruises under our belts, we were looking forward to seeing her again. Last time we had a standard balcony stateroom ...
We choose this cruise as a Christmas and New Year getaway.
Even though we had an inside cabin, it was very comfortable and suited our needs.
We wish to thank Betty (Housekeepng) for looking after our room and brilllant service.
The food in the Cafe on Deck 10 was very good with many thanks to Miriam for making us so welcome.
We don't do Restaurants or such as we are not into big ...
I have been on 18 cruises, but never longer than 7 days. This was my 1st longer cruise and my 1st transatlantic cruise.
EMBARKATION: I arrived at the port in Barcelona with a fellow passenger who spoke Spanish. Somewhow, that got us priority boarding. We walked right up to counter, got our cruise cards and walked right onto the ship. I think were were onboard within 10 ...
We enjoy spending time in Europe in the fall and then sailing home on a trans-Atlantic with our preferred lines - Holland America and Cunard. We appreciated the itinerary as it was full of ports we enjoyed . We also greatly enjoy the ambience on HAL ships. We boarded without issue at Barcelona , concluding ten wonderful days in Spain. The ship was spotless and remained so through our 15 days ...
This is my second Queen Elizabeth review.
Cabin - This time we were in cabin next door to where we stayed last year. Everything was well maintained, clean, and plenty of space and storage for our 34 night cruise.
Service - impeccable everywhere.
Food - Britannia MDR breakfast lunch and dinner always hot, beautifully presented and tasty. Freedom dining works for us. No queues. Every table ...
I was a bit uncertain about this ship. It is a smaller older ship. This was also our first time taking a European cruise. Let me tell you how fantastic this cruise was. The ship is well maintained and very comfortable. The service was outstanding. The food in the main dining room as well as the Windjammer buffet was plentiful and delicious. The entertainment was top notch. There is actually a ...
We chose this itinerary because we have a cousin that moved to Portugal. She joined us on the cruise with her husband. Thanks to the great app it was the easiest embarkation we’ve ever had. We downloaded our pass, picked a time, and got on very quickly. Our room attendant (balcony room), Dennis was extremely kind and helpful the entire cruise. Our room was always clean and if we needed anything he ...
The itinerary was excellent, although we won't ever embark/disembark from Marseille again thanks to their brutal taxation.
Staff were friendly and attentive throughout the ship. Given the age of the ship, it's not in bad shape, the rooms that seem to be rated poorly due to design reminded us of the 2 RV's we once owned and loved.
I would have no hesitation booking on this ship ...
This was our third Holland cruise and most ambitious. A Mediterranean cruise is inherently busy because of all the port stops. Several ports are commercial ports, so bus travel is required to get to the attractions.
The Oosterdam, as with all Holland ships is meticulously maintained. The crew was very friendly and our cabin stewards Gusti and Mifta were top notch. We had a cabin on the ...
I love the Epic so booked this cruise and I'm so glad I did, yes it was really hot due to the heatwave, but we coped and the air conditioning on the ship helped so much. The staff were amazing all so friendly and helpful, the restaurants were great always friendly and with me been vegetarian they were way more than helpful ensuring they got me the vegan menu and ensuring I was happy with what I ...
