This was my second time on the Epic and third cruise with Norwegian. Cruising is 99% back to normal, with very few COVID restrictions remaining (this took me by surprise). According to the GM at the Q&A session on May 21, we had 3000 passengers and 1500 crew onboard (about 80% capacity). We were a bit nervous when we learned that our 18 night cruise on the Quest was the first sailing since covid shutdown. However, Seabourn staff did a wonderful job and most things seemed "back to normal". We sailed from Barcelona to Ravenna (a port 2 hour included bus ride from Venice) as large ships can no longer dock in Venice.

This was my first cruise I've ever taken and I was blown away. This cruise exceeded all of my expectations. I was really nervous about being on a ship for 11 days for fear of seasickness and it was never a problem. One of the days we couldn't go into port because there were 50 mph winds and the boat rocked a little but I never actually got sick.

We took the same ship and intinerary in fall 2017 and had a bad medical experience (unrelated to anything on the cruise). So this was a redo. Due to pandemic, prices were crazy low so we booked a two bedroom suite in the Haven. First I would like to say the crew on Norwegian epic was wonderful!! Waited a year and a half just to go on my first cruise with Norwegian. We booked excursions for every port. We were so excited ! As I said, we particularly like cruises with time at sea. Also, I have always wanted to go to Spain, so this was a perfect combination for us. Additionally, The Haven (for us) is worth the additional cost. It's like being on a small ship if you choose to stay in that area, but if you want to enjoy the entertainment that's available on a large ship, you can do that.
