The Ship was amazing, we were well impressed with the Shows, the food was lovely and a good choice but it was never more than lukewarm which was a shame, the staff work so hard and are so friendly. I've written an extensive report of our experience on the costa board.
This was deal we couldnt say no to. A guaranteed inside cabin,so weren't expecting much.
Upgraded to a Balcony.
Cabin spotless throughout the cruise.
Some of the best food i've ever had. It is aimed at the Italian market and therefore meats, cheeses etc are aimed at western Europeans.

I really Don't know what people are moaning about with this ship.
We had a fantastic cruise.
We have sailed with RCI and Celebrity in the past and were pleasantly surprised by how well the Costa Diadema stood up against the bigger cruise lines.

This ship is the replacement for the ill fated Costa Concordia and is a very large ship at well over 140000 tons and 4000 passengers.
Having said that, it is very well designed and appointed and we much prefer it to say Britannia, which is a similar size.

Fantastic first time cruise with Costa! The ship is awesome, very glitzy and modern, clean throughout. Facilities are diverse and finished to a high standard and with the latest technology.
