We began our European adventure with two precruise nights in Barcelona..one of our favorite cities. Embarkation was a breeze at around 1pm. This was the easiest embarkation procedure that I have ever experienced. It took no time at all. My first view of the interior of the ship was dazzling. My companion who had never sailed before was equally impressed.

Cabin 2137 Sky suite excellent space both inside and outside.
Storage enough for 4 let alone a couple
Bathroom full size with both rain shower and ordinary shower.
including luxury toiletries.
Little or no noise from Ocean View cafe above.

My husband and I sailed on the Solstice out of Barcelona on August 27. We're in our late 20s--this was our eighth cruise but first time on Celebrity and in the Mediterranean.
