Great ports, disappointing Celebrity experience
"There was very poor communication regarding the ports ( when available maps were unreadable or useless, no talks about the port, tenders poorly organized - weather was bad for 2 but very little communication regarding what was happening and chaos ensued and never even took tender tickets so in end most people just got on regardless of group called at that point).I checked with desk to see what was going on - was it cancelled or not - they had no idea or information even after I showed them the email...."Read More

We have sailed with Celebrity a number of times and chose this cruise due to the itinerary. The ports were wonderful, however ship experience was not what we have come to expect from Celebrity. There was very poor communication regarding the ports ( when available maps were unreadable or useless, no talks about the port, tenders poorly organized - weather was bad for 2 but very little ...

Disappointed of UK

This was our second Celebrity cruise and the first on one of the smaller ships, the biggest disappointment for us was the food and slow service in bar areas. The issue with the food was limited menu choices compared to previous trip on Silhouette, cold food in buffet and several stations in the buffet area were just not used on many occasions. Obviously the slow service in bar areas is a ...

Overall Good Service, but......

We have sailed Celebrity for many years and the main reason we are loyal to Celebrity is Service, attentive staff, courteous, ship is well maintained and visibility of Senior Officers and I love how all staff members greet you. This cruise was good, but I noticed some of why I am loyal to Celebrity was not to the standard I am used to. The staff in Blu was very nice, but they seemed to be ...

We boarded in Barcelona Spain with ports of call in Gibraltar, Sete, Nice, Florence and Corsica for a 9 day cruise. The ship could use a refresh, but everything was clean and well cared for. We had a Royal Suite which was phenomenal. I think we only saw our room attendant, Natasha, twice during the whole cruise, but the cabin was always spotless. Our butler, Ellie, was the best! He couldn't do ...

Perfect for what we wanted

I was travelling with my mum in a Sky Suite and we were both not expecting the cruise to be as wonderful as it was. We embarked in Barcelona and were on a 9 day Spain, France and Italy cruise. From the moment we got on the ship to disembarking we were made to feel extra special. I was eyeing up the free welcome drink when Vinay (who we soon found out worked in the fine jewellery store) ...

This is the 2nd cruise we sailed with Celebrity, we were impressed with Eclipse last year and decide to join another cruise with Celebrity. This is a slightly smaller and older ship than the Eclipse, but we still had a lot of fun in this 9 nights cruise trip. First of all, we love the shows at night, the performances, singer and dancers did a fantastic jobs, we caught the show every evenings ...

Cruising Background: I’ve been cruising with Celebrity since 2003 and this was my 18th/19th cruise (Tony, a few cruises less than me); and second time on the Constellation. This was our first back-to-back cruise, 3 September and 12 September 2019, with our friends. It was a very port-intensive cruise with fabulous ports of call. I would love to do another one but with more sea days. On ...

We can only travel easily during July due to our fifteen year old son's school and athletic schedule. The Caribbean holds no allure for us during the heat of the summer, we've done Alaska, and the Pacific is so far from the East Coast of the US, therefore Europe is our preferred destination. This itinerary/ship seemed to be the best value that Celebrity had to offer for July in Europe, so after ...

After reading a fair few negative reviews I was rather worried about our trip. I had no need to be! The ship was beautiful, all areas were spotlessley clean and regularly kept that way. It had been reported that some public areas were in need of repair and showed wear and tear, we didn't see any area that wasn't wonderfully tended too. Our cabin, 6000 was surprisingly spacious and kept cleaned by ...

This is my first time with Celebrity and I was most impressed with the excellent service from housekeepers to crew to waiters. Everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole cruise. Also they always pass out a paper for next port so you can read through the FAQ for each port. ROOM: We stayed in an oceanview room second deck. Our restroom definitely needs some maintenance work cuz ...
