This was our second sailing on the Equinox, the first was our honeymoon in 2010 and this was also my 61st cruise..
Celebrity certainly is a notch above most other lines, from the welcome aboard champagne to the décor and the smiles of MOST staff.
Entertainment overall is very good with something for everyone but not necessarily will everyone like everything.

This was the first segment of our Back to Back cruise, ending with the Trans-Atlantic to Fort Lauderdale. We arrived in Barcelona several days early to give us a chance to sightsee and get used to the time zone. The flight from Orlando-Frankfurt was an incredible nonstop. We booked through Choice Air, getting a Lufthansa Premium Economy for a third of what Lufthansa had on their website. Premium ...
We got a great deal on this cruise and loved the itinerary. The ship was beautiful and in great condition. My husband was missing the outdoor movie screen he so enjoys. Our cabin was spacious with plenty of storage space. I did not like the shower as the shower head was fixed and not detachable. In a small space this is an annoyance. The food in the dinning room was a huge disappointment. ...
I love the Transatlantics...those sea days and 25 hour days are the best way to de-clutter your mind and let the stress go. Celebrity excels at trying very hard to exceed passenger expectations. The itinerary Barcelona, Cartagena, Agadir (Morocco), Lanzarote and Tenerife in the Canary Islands was the reason I chose this ship. Now the Equinox will be in the Caribbean all year around.
I was a ...
My husband and I were on Celebrity Equinox’s Oct 25th transatlantic crossing, leaving from Barcelona, going to Cartagena (Spain), Agadir (Morocco), Lanzarote (Canary Islands), Tenerife (Canary Islands), and ending in Ft Lauderdale. This was our first transatlantic crossing! We chose this itinerary because of the exotic ports and also because it was relatively affordable, even with the double ...
Our second Celebrity cruise. We liked the sound of the itinerary. I researched the itin prior to sailing. Didn't need to after all. Embarkation was very smooth, as was disembarking. The staff really wants to expedite the process. The ship decor is very nice. The guests are of a nice caliber. Not a lot of kids. However, the artwork provided by Park West is mostly the same on every ship they are on. ...
The positives of cruising on the Equinox are many and already well described by many other reviewers. The crew and officers are genuinely friendly and that helps make this cruise memorable and pleasant. For a TA the speaker program was a welcome daily event and there were several different topics covered that kept people filling the room each day.
I rated the EQ down one star based on a ...
I chose this cruise because Equinox has always been my favorite Solstice class ship and I knew this would be its last European voyage. The service on this cruise was excellent as is the norm for Celebrity. The food served in the main dining room (table 218) was superb and my waitress Julia would be hard to equal. The food in the oceanview cafe was unbelievably diverse offering many choices of ...
Overall my experience was great but from what I had heard about Celebrity, I was disappointed. The food was good but not great. The dessert selection in the dining room was limited and I only had one dessert that was very good. Many of the desserts in the Ocean Café were cake, fluff, and fruit pie filling that all tasted the same.
We dined at the Tuscan Restaurant and while the food was good, ...
This was the second segment of our Back to Back cruise. We were allowed to stay on the ship in Barcelona and we didn't change cabins, thanks to the Future Cruise folks who made the original reservation. There were something like 300+ B2B'ers. This was our third X cruise. We are Elite due to our RCL points. There were something like over 1000 Elites or above, resulting in paper vouchers for the ...
