We just returned form a Med cruise on the Celebrity Edge. It was absolutely wonderful. The ship is brand new, clean, beautiful. Everything went smoothly from embarkation to disembarking. Our cabin was the Celebrity Suite. We had Rhona our wonderful butler. The space was perfect. The entire staff we had interaction with on a daily basis were friendly and helpful. Pricilla Schmitt who oversees the ...

The Celebrity Edge is an outstanding ship. We loved the Celebrity Reflection but this was something different. Time and effort had been taken to create a different type of cruise ship, It was tasteful, slick and big enough to get round without being too big. We had a cabin with a sunset balcony and it did not disappoint, however we did discuss this and thought if we were looking to save money ...

This was our first time cruising, it was a gift for my 50th BD. Our family of four did 7 days from Barcelona to Rome. We chose Celebrity Edge because we liked the itinerary and found a really good deal with Costco.ca where our 12 and 16year old cruised for free. Wow, we had such an amazing experience where do I even begin. First, me and my husband are both worried about sea sickness, we had ...

Chosen to experience the new concept of design, dates and ports also met our requirements. Overall we loved the ship, the cabin felt spacious, well designed bathroom with plenty of storage but a mouldy smell in shower a little strange. Cabin itself again well designed had a gripe with the location of the wardrobe as so close to the side of bed made access a little tight. The infinity ...

Spa Will disappoint You!

Review for Celebrity Edge to Europe - Western Mediterranean

The Celebrity Edge is a new ship, other than that nothing special. Kind of disappointing when you book the AquaClass so you can have unlimited use of the spa and all you get is 2 steam rooms, one "salt room" which is not to par with today's "salt rooms", no cold showers or rinse for after the steam room, only hot showers, and a sauna that doesn't get hot. We cruised on August 3rd on a 7 day ...

First time on Celebrity

Chose cruise as Celebrity cruises were recommended by other guests on other cruise company ships. Had 2 x S1 suites for 5 people. These are small compared to suites on other ships such as MSC yacht club, NCL Haven, Queens grill Cunard or Grand suite on RCL. Very poor value for money! Luminae restaurant closes really early for breakfast. It is barely open for lunch and has a very limited food ...

Tried out this ship for birthday treat. Decided to splash out on two adjoining staterooms this time to avoid having to share bathroom with our teenage daughter! Good move. Had a great time. Infinity staterooms very comfortable. Excellent bed, felt spacious and modern. Daughter loved technology - lights operational by phone etc. Bit torn re having no traditional verandah. Pluses- room bigger; ...

Suite class all the way back to back

We chose the cruise because we wanted to maximise our time in Europe. See as much as we could with a child during a short window and we wanted to experience the new ship and to see for ourselves if it lived up to the hype. We had well reserched the ports and had some great excusrsions planned (our own not Celebrity) and were really excited. Coming from New Zealand and having cruised before ...

We did a back to back cruise as a family - 4 adults and 3 young children. Ship was great, cabin extremely disappointing, food and service were good to very good. 4 of the group were gluten free and this was well catered for. Restaurant options very good. 4 restaurants with different cultural themes (Greek, Italian, French and American). It was great to have the regions speciality dishes on the ...

This was a hard cruise for me to rate, there were some good things (Pier check in was very easy and early which was great, we had two sky suites on the 9th floor which were roomy and nicely appointed, and the ship is bright and clean, and the Retreat sun deck is great). But there were also some really bad things (weather canceled our 2 outdoor dining experiences at Magic Carpet and Rooftop ...
