The embarkation went really well. Once onboard we had a wander round. There was no wow appeal. The cabin was not cleaned properly we had a half eaten snicker in our fridge, a pencil on the floor & a dirty sock under the bed. The rooms were a good size and beds comfortable. Our balcony was never cleaned. The staff were not very friendly or helpful it all seemed a bit chaotic at times. I ...

This cruise was amazing, it was my dream cruise! I traveled with my mom and dad. It was amazing! It was a new ship with only 2 months sailing before our cruise. You could tell that everything was new since the boat was just beautiful. It was my first cruise but not my parents. It was a busy cruise since we stopped every day except 3 days. So th cruise was a bit tiring but that was because it was ...

We spent our honeymoon on Carnival Vista's second voyage. Over 10 days, we traveled to four different countries and enjoyed several of the excursions offered aboard! The ship itself is huge. It took us several days to learn how to navigate each floor, and the ship is set up a bit differently than the typical cruise ship. There's no efficient way to get from point A to point B, often times it ...

The cruise was very smooth and well operated from the on boarding to the debarkation. The new "choose you time" for on boarding must be working as it was the fastest we have ever gotten on a ship from the time we walked into the terminal. The crew was well trained and there were very few "start up" issues. The food selections in the Lido restaurant were limited however all of the upscale ...

Just returned from our first Carnival experience. Our ship was the Vista the newest ship of Carnival and sad to say was not impressed with the overall experience. We found it too large a ship, the two pools were enormously small for a ship catering to almost 5,000 - it was rediculous! The person who designed the ship should be shot.....when you wanted to go to many of the activities (as an ...

I had a great cruise on the Vista and would definitely go on her again. I will now tell you about the things I liked and did not like as much about the Vista. The Ship - I really liked the look of the Vista from the outside, from the shore side. Also I thought the outside decks and amenities were great. I loved the Havana pool bar and outside area. One really good thing that the Vista ...

Having never cruised with Carnival before, we chose the newly refurbished Sunshine, formerly the Carnival Destiny, because of the itinerary. After spending three wonderful days in Barcelona, we set out to board the ship and looked forward to going to Marseilles, Florence, Rome, Naples, Dubrovnik, Venice overnight, and Messina before returning to Barcelona. Embarkation was surprisingly ...

Take plenty of money if you are on Vista. It was the worst Carnival cruise we have done. Can you imagine you pay extra 6 bucks for fish and chips for lunch. We never met our cabin staff and the reflections restaurant was like some sort of cafe in a department store. The food and the service was about the same. There were no TV movies but if you want to see a movie in the theater you pay. You ...

Would definitely recommend this ship, and we do not usually sail with Carnival. Chose this cruise because we loved the itinerary and long days in each port. We knew this was a very port intensive cruise rather than a laid back relaxing cruise like going to the Caribbean. We mostly joined many private excursions which saved us a great deal of money, and allowed us to travel comfortably and meet ...

We did a a cruise for our 25th anniversary. We cruise 1-2 times a year, we loved the Vista. It was probably the nicest ship we had been on. We were unable to do much of what the ship offered. We booked one of the rear facing Havanna suites. With private Havanna bar and pool. Very nice, but the room was a bit smaller than I expected. The food is good, the enteratinment was the best I had ever seen ...
