Carnival Cruise Reviews for Senior from Barcelona

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Carnival Freedom

This was our third Transatlantic cruise with Carnival and by far the worst. If this had been our first Carnival cruise we'd never set foot again on a Carnival ship. The cruise got off to the worst possible start and never really recovered to an acceptable level. It started on a sour note with Embarkation and finished on a sour note with Disembarkation, the bit inbetween was only slightly ...

I'm an avid cruiser platinum with Carnival and many other lines. On Sunshine tranatlantic cruise from Barcelona to New Orleans, If you were a first time cruiser you might think everything was ok,or if you just cruise to drink and don't care about much this ship would be fine. But as one who cruises for the sites and things to do on a cruise ship I'm very disappointed, they say this is like a new ...

I want my old Carnival back

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

I want my old Carnival back, I just got off of the Sunshine on it's transatlantic 16 night cruise. In one word HORRIBLE, and I will detail most of the things that went wrong. You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, this kept coming to me over and over during the cruise. I am a platinum member and should be a diamond since I never got credit for the cruises I took on the Marti Gras, and ...

Carnival Sunshine? Anything but a fun experience.

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

Without Prejudice. We were a party of 6 adults travelling on the Carnival Sunshine. Of these, one was my elderly mother - aged 85, and my learning disabled sister aged 47. Both used wheelchairs to get around. My husband and I have been cruising for 18 years, this was our first experience with Carnival. In order to depict a fair image of what we experienced, let me start with the positives. These ...

I have been on many cruises, but this was my second Carnival cruise with the other one being on the Fantasy many years ago. Our group was a family of family 10 which included 8 adults, one teenager, and my 3yr old who was on his 3rd cruise. We were only the July 19th sailing. The Sunshine cruise was chosen due to the itinerary and it fit into the dates that we all had available. Pre-Cruise: We ...

Fairly new to cruising having taken our first cruise just under two years ago, but we have caught the bug and this was our seventh cruise now in this timeframe. Our second with Carnival. Our other five were with Royal Caribbean. Our first Carnival experience was our only bad one, but thought we would give them a second chance. There will NOT be a third one ... First time reviewer here. I felt ...

We have been kidnapped 12 days in Carnival Breeze

This cruise was a gift from my husband for my 60th birthday. I had to work 18 months to be able to accumulate enough vacation time to go on this trip. Our first problem was with Air France, that lost our bags when we arrived in Barcelona. After our arrival on the ship, we were told by Jan not to worry about our bags, that Carnival would be responsible for finding out bags. Three days later our ...

This was, or should have been, my dream trip of a lifetime. This trip has been in the planning for almost 12 yrs and my husband and I have saved for it for over 2 yrs (cruise and airfare)as seeing Italy was my dream. We are 'paycheck to paycheck' people, still working full time w/ multiple mortgages, bills and family depending on us. This was a "once in a lifetime" that may never happen again for ...

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

Unfortunately this is the first and last time we will ever travel with Carnival. We are experienced cruisers having done over 20 cruises but never have we been treated like this before. Embarkation was good and our cabin at first site was nice we had a balcony on deck 6, however we didn't need to go to any of the shows in the theatre we could hear them all from our room! That said we were out of ...

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Carnival Breeze

Our experience on the Breeze was poor. Overall the ship was over crowded and had long lines for simply everything. There are no relaxing drinks by the pool or lazy games of ping pong, just lots and lots of people all standing in line everywhere. The lido deck has inspired the term "combat dining". In the mornings they would run out of coffee, coffee mugs and even regular cups, very frustrating. ...
