Coming back from Cozumel which was a blast. This rainbow showed up from the ship crashing the water with a little sunshine to add. The sea was nice to us leaving Cozumel.

Disappointing second cruise with Carnival

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

We chose Carnival as we had enjoyed a previous cruise with them sailing out of Tampa Florida..The food and entertainment were excellent and we had a wonderful holiday. Sadly the same could not be said for this cruise. The embarkation was dreadful with unhelpful staff and long queues. My friends handbag was snatched off her before she could close it and her passport was lost . Eventually it was ...

We are loyal Carnival cruisers but were a little disappointed with some things on this cruise. The ship is beautiful with the decor completely changed from other ships. The layout mistakes on the Magic have been corrected and the traffic flows much better. The buffet areas on Lido deck have been re-designed and no longer looks like a giant school cafeteria. Food: There are more places to ...

Carnival Breeze - Westbound Transatlantic

This site's summary for Carnival is "High-energy ship good for families, extroverts". Unfortunately on this cruise, Carnival lost the recipe. Passengers would have been totally bored if they didn't read, play games and/or cards, or frequent the casino. For example, I don't consider a sea day activity as going to the Art Auction. Both daytime activities and evening entertainment was sparse. Even ...

Light and fluky Breeze

After looking forward to this Trans-atlantic cruise, I was very disappointed. The pluses should always be first so: *the decor is a great improvement over the glitzy Vegas decor of other Carnival ships *the multiple eating venues are great *the show entertainment was first rate. The technology was superb. *the cabins are nice and roomy *the public areas (lobby, lounges, etc.) are plentiful ...

This was our second cruise after 20 years. Overall, very disappointed with the food and constant pressure to buy photos, shore excursions, items from the shops and spa services. Cabin was good, clean with adequate closet space , but needed more hangers. First lunch was a buffet. I chose the stir fry, where you select your veggies, protein and sauce. Then the cook tosses your choices on a Wok ...

Fun Ship Delivers Hits and Misses

It's 9 am on a bright and sunny Wednesday in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on the Carnival Breeze. You're sitting outside on the Lido deck , eating tepid scrambled eggs (strangely blended with flour, i think) and drinking weak coffee. John and Calvin are on the giant "Dive In" screen interspersing homophobic slurs with fat jokes. You are surrounded by exhausted seniors who are struggling ...

Final Carnival Cruise

A friend and I chose the Carnival Breeze Mediterranean cruise because of its itinerary and it departed from and returned to the same port. This was my 16th cruise overall, and second on Carnival (the first being on their early ship, Carnivale). What we liked: our room (#7220) which is towards the front of the ship and has storage rooms on either side, so it was very quiet. Our room steward, ...

Just back from a 12 day Carnival Breeze Mediterranean Cruise. First time cruising with Carnival. My wife and I have done around 20 cruises and while not fussy people the cruise was not up to our expectations. The ship itself is very nice but fell short on in a number of areas . One of the highlights of any cruise for me is enjoying a good meal at supper. Most meals that were served lacked flair ...

Lovely Holiday- although will not book Carnival again

We have just returned from a 12 night stay on the Carnival Breeze, we had a lovely holiday but we would not travel with them again. There was 1500 children on this cruise ship and this was a major factor for us not enjoying our time on the ship most of the time they run round and don't care if they run into you. We found out that the 12 nights we were on the Breeze there was over 1600 people ...

The Breeze was nice; not sure what the hype was about

This had been my 4th cruise this year on Carnival and the menu was the EXACT same on each ship!!! Thank goodness for Guy's burgers, Steakhouse & Deli otherwise we were eating the same food. The worst possible thing was the reusing of the bread & dishes that was left at a table and we witnessed these ourselves. During breakfast & dinner (at least 4 occasions) whatever bread was left over in ...
