We are frequent cruisers (with several different lines), but this was our first cruise with MSC. We were excited because this cruise was supposed to go to Casablanca. In fact we chose this cruise specifically because of this destination. It was only when we printed off our cruise documents four days prior to leaving for Barcelona (non-refundable RT airfare from Miami, non-refundable prepaid ...

It was the first world cruise for msc. we had done two other world cruises with holland america and costa cruise. When we compered the msc cruise with the other two was very poor in several areas. This was cruise # 3 with Viking, we are contemplating on cancelling our next cruise. On board entertainment was the same on all three cruises, very boring. We were told by the cruise director ( he joined the cruise 10 days after living Barcellona) they were contemplating changing talent agency, to late for us. The restaurant wait staff reached the point of being a nuisance ( ...

Response from VikingS, Community Team

Thank you for taking the time to review our recent journey together. While it’s a delight to learn that your interaction with the room stewards was a pleasant aspect of the trip, we’re sorry...

There was no tea or coffee available after breakfast for the remainder of the day accept on sea days when tea and coffee was available late afternoon. We had to purchase tea or coffee outside those times. When purchasing anything there was a 15% surcharge on top of the cost of the item. There was a 20 euro per person per day gratuity surcharge. No butter for bread freely available ...
