Allure review 5/22- 5/28/22
"He then turned to another person and had the show me where my table was, introduced us to our waiter and said no need to wait in line at our “My Time” dining time of 5:15pm, just go to the table. We went to the Grande Dining Room to request a table for 2, we just wanted to be on our own as many past cruises we have been grouped with others and have not had good luck so this time we just wanted to be on our own...."Read More

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Allure of the Seas

Let me start by saying, this is my fourth cruise, but it has been 14 years since I have been on a cruise. I need to do it more! I travelled with a first time cruiser, and he certainly wants to do it again! I think Royal Caribbean is the best cruise line I've ever used. Cabin-- 4 of 5 stars. See below. Public spaces- The public spaces were always clean, well-decorated, and inviting. ...

This may be long but I found very little recent information all in one place in my research prior to departure, so here is a detailed review. We boarded out of Fort Lauderdale and our boarding time was 11:30am, we were told that they enforced this and I understand why, it regulated the flow and reduced large public gatherings (which is quite comical based on later events while on board). The ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Allure of the Seas

This was my 3rd cruise ever. The first was a short Carnival Carnival cruise 10 years ago, then an 8 night this past January on the Independence of the Seas. I was slightly apprehensive about 11 nights at sea: would there be enough to do, what would the weather be like, would I get sea sick if the water was choppy etc. I have to say the apprehension was unfounded. This was also an anniversary ...

We live in Fort Lauderdale and it's the home port for the Allure. Because of this, the ship gets a lot of publicity. We ordinarily don't like a ship this big, but we were curious. Several of our friends had sailed on her and raved about it, so we did the Caribbean on the Allure last December. We were impresssed and this time, we sailed with two other couples. Again, we enjoyed ourselves. We ...

Bed by the closet was a bit of an annoyance, but the cruise was great!

We chose this cruise as the rates for an inside cabin were really low, and then when we found the airfair was super cheap through the cruise line, we jumped at the chance. I have had a few different types of cruises on my to-do list and while I wanted a Transatlantic, I thought if I was going to be on ocean for that long I wanted to be on a large ship. It just so happens that the Allure was the ...

I was planning a trip to Spain with my friends. And one of my friend suggested me to do a cruise and he insisted me to do this one specifically "THE ALLURE OF THE SEAS" He showed me some videos of the cruise but i was not ready to believe that this is the actual cruise. but their was a glitch again. We wanted to cruise only for 3 nights because it was our first time sailing. So we were ...

My wife and I cruised on the Allure of the Seas in mid-September 2015 from Barcelona Spain. We are in our late 50’s and have cruised 20 times, 9 times on Royal Carib, and 3 times on the Oasis class. We traveled with 3 other adults our age. My reviews are detailed so folks can get info they may not already have. I also like to break it up into sections rather than give a day-by-day bio. Here ...

Embarkation Barcelona: The quickest easiest I have ever had. They grab your luggage as you exit the taxi and don't have to haul it through any lines. Had a Jr suite so had priority check in and nobody was in line so we went straight through but even the regular line looked very reasonable. We were on the ship in 30 minutes! Contrast that to Navigator in January 15 in Galveston were we waited for ...

This cruise ticked all the right boxes both my husband and I had a fantastic week the ship was amazing the food was 10* no matter where you ate for me I would tell anyone chop and grill restaurant was out of this world the steak was cooked to just how we liked it and the choice of side dishes was plenty. All the staff on board could not do enough for you. This ship was so so clean the toilets were ...

Arrived at Barcelona Airport and was greeted by RCCL lady, got a taxi man to come and greet us, she came with him to the taxi and took away the trolleys which was nice. Straight to the Silken where the check in chaps played the 'can't find your booking' game. So we waited patiently and ta-da, they found them. Up graded room but overlooking a building site. The bed was very hard. Disappointed to ...
