Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Infinity

We chose infinity after traveling on solstice and we're very impressed. Sadly the infinity is no where near the same class. It is shabby and much of the decks are rusty. The food in main dining room can only be described as school dinner type food. Very little choice and basic . The entertainment in bars is again very basic with little audience engagement. The staff work very hard but ...

main dining room service was excellent. Food was just ok. there were options every day for grilled salmon and chicken. steak looked burnt and very thin. menu was not very exciting. one night's options included duck, lobster, beef wellington, and lamb. other nights not as exciting. servers were excellent and very accommodating. wine steward very helpful and ready to assist us every night. cabin ...

Faulty cabins with noise issues and faulty heating. Ship needs a complete overhaul. Avoid this ship!

The Heating did not work and there was loud constant noise in the cabin. Other passengers also experienced similar problems . Guest relations were aware of this but presented as though this was the first time it had happened. Technicians tried to fix this but this resulting in a burning smell throughout. We were then offered an indoor cabin with even louder noise issues than the previous one. ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Silver Dawn

It is the newest Silverseaship for me . I was looking g forward to the Thermal spa and cooking classes and silver note. Regrettably the Note and cooking g classes impossible to get a reservation. One books and then it’s cancelled because no space. The FCC is very inexperienced ( joined Silversea the day I boarded this cruise) and not up to Silversea standards. I got a quote from him in writing ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Nautica

Written while still on board. We chose this cruise largely because of the port visit in Morocco. A week before sailing they canceled that port for security reasons and substituted Cadiz. Then after embarkation they did another schedule change, which put us in Santa Cruz, Canary Islands on a Sunday. Unfortunately, this being our longest port visit, from 7 am to 11 pm, there was nothing to do since ...

Forced to accept massive itinerary changes

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Nautica

Our 32-day cruise included many planned ports impacted by the war. The result, after our last Mediterranean port, we had ten consecutive sea days on the way to Dubai. The cause of the changes was understandable. That would could not cancel was not understandable. The ticket contract holds with port changes, understandable for operational and weather issues. But massive changes should release ...

First cruise under Royal Caribbean brand ! Have enjoyed Several SS cruises before it was sold. RC had already bumped us from maiden voyage on Dawn so have been reluctant to revisit SS , however the new design Nova enticed us to return. New design has positive and negative aspects. The constant during our cruise was the outstanding efficiency and friendliness on the entire crew. ...

This was our 5th Oceania cruise, and will be our last. First- the good- ship is beautiful and staff and room attendant amazing! We had a great extended balcony corner, and as previously asked about loungers on extended balconies- we were allowed, and saved me as I was sick for the last week. The bad- I had the runs for a week and realized it was the filtered sea water they serve on ...

20 Days on the Sojourn

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

We decided to cruise on the Seabourn, having only done one other cruise with them. We did back to back cruises, starting in Barcelona and ending in Rome 20 days in all.Embarkation was good. The ship softgoods (interiors of cabins} very very tired. They were in dry dock during Covid, and it would have been a good job to re-do those dark cabins, with lighter fabric. Our penthouse suite was very ...

This was a memorial cruise following the deaths of both of our parents. I went with my sister, brother and his wife. We paid $40,000 for the two cabins on the Regent SS Voyager for the trip from Barcelona to Lisbon. June 25 to July 2, 2023. It was not the top quality we had paid for. It was quite disappointing 1. Lack of communications and zero organization regarding flight check ins and ...
