Just returned from the above cruise. What drew me to it initially was that it was a new ship with modern styling (no beige wood or colour in sight) and of course the prospect of some winter sun. Embarkation A shambles. Explanation given was a large number of passengers arrived within a short period of time although there was little sign of organisation by Explora staff for the hour plus we were standing in the midday heat. Chose this cruise because we enjoyed our Caribbean cruise on Discovery last year. Our main grumbles were with the poor quality restaurant food and the shambolic service in the Latitude. We chose this cruise as we had so enjoyed a fantastic trip with Seabourn Quest in 2016. We wanted to skip a month of Winter and be spoilt whilst doing it. Flights delayed going and returning to Gatwick. We paid premium seating but did not even sit with each other there or back. Cabin on 8th deck with balcony didn't have the usual wow factor. Ship was nice enough but it is only a year old so would expect everything to be shipshape. A lot of dark wood and dark colours, balcony cabin with setee was quite roomy and like the open wardrobe area.
