Seabourn Wins!!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Seabourn Ovation

We’ve spent the last year “comparing” luxury cruise lines, sailing in the Retreat on Celebrity several times (including the maiden voyage of the new Ascent) and testing out Regent’s brand new Seven Seas Grandeur . . . While we enjoyed them all, we believe our 2 voyages on Seabourn Ovation to be significantly better in almost every respect. The Ovation, launched in 2018, was the “oldest ship” we’ve ...

Our first cruise , amazing experience , excellent service , very clean and all staff couldn’t help enough. Fly cruise to the Caribbean. Prepaid excursions were well worth the money with excellent guides on the day. Unfortunately due to weather , one port stop had to be cancelled and P and O refunded the cost straight away . We upgraded to an outside cabin with balcony which was a blessing as the ...

Just got back from a terrible week abroad this ship . We went in a group of seven ranging from 2yrs to 60 to celebrate my husband’s 60 birthday . This was spoiled by all seven of us suffering from severer illness. This was due to the poor food quality and preparation. Staff lacked etiquette and serving training ( one staff member stabbed a roll with a fork to serve after trying to sever ...

A great choice for really slow cruising.

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Explora I

As our TA kept reminding us, my wife and I were among the first Belgians to book a cruise on Explora, almost as soon as this Panama sailing was announced. We thought that we knew enough about MSC's vision in terms of luxury, having sailed in their Yacht Club often enough and having reached the uppermost level in their loyal program. From the first images the ships looked great, but the info was ...

We are nearing the end of an outstanding 25 night voyage from Barbados to Los Angeles via Panama. The ship design, the well trained and positive crew delivering exemplary service, the mix of interesting ports, the brilliant cuisine and the engaging entertainment and activities have all blended to make a highly recommended Cruise experience. The unrestricted, fast broadband wifi enables full ...

Superb Experience

Top class in almost every respect. Our second Seabourn cruise and this one for 14 days. Public spaces still look classy ( perhaps not the Club which is dark) but our 5th deck cabin's carpet is looking past its best. It was kept immaculately. We could not fault food or service standards. Breakfast is a repeat affair but there's plenty of choice. We really enjoyed Earth and Ocean for dinner. Solis ...

On 17th March 2024 we went on a 14 day Caribbean cruise with Seabourn on Ovation. This review reflects our experience on this new ship. We have previously had two 14 day Caribbean cruises on Seabourn Odyssey. This has greatly affected our views about the new ship and may differ greatly from someone’s views taking their first Seabourn trip. We have previously been extremely impressed with the ...

After reading many bad reviews about Arvia,we had mixed feelings about getting onboard, but we always say let's make our cruise the best we can make it what ever happens. We have been on plenty of cruises with different cruise lines and plenty with P and O. We have to say we had a fantastic time ,yes it wasn't perfect ,but we didn't experience anything to really moan about.Food was of a good ...

Major drop in service levels

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Arvia

We have been on Iona a number of times so as this is the sister ship, we expected a similar experience. So wrong there ! Also, the staff came over as uninterested, some were just downright rude. It did not make for a happy atmosphere which for me totally ruined the holiday. Lets start with food. On the Iona, the Olive Grove is Italian fare. Not on Arvia. My Ceasar salad starter was literally ...

Standards dropping

Having had a wonderful experience on Iona 18 months ago we wanted to check out Arvia going to the Caribbean. The experience started badly when we found out we were flying with Maleth Aero - an airline I have never heard of and if I had known this was the airline, it would have certainly put me off booking. The eight hour flight had no in flight entertainment or any duty free service. The ...
