Top-notched new ship in the luxury class

Review for a South America Cruise on Explora I

The new ship Explora I exceeds my expectation, as we have watched different YouTube videos introducing it. We sailed this 9 days itinerary simply to enjoy the ship, since we have been to most of these Caribbean islands we visited this trip. The service of all the wait staffs (or hosts) are remarkable, comparable to 6 star luxury hotels & resorts. They serve us with genuine cheerfulness and ...

I got this for my Wife's 60th birthday as she has been on several cruises but it was my first time. We booked a 2 week cruise round the Carribbean and I was totally smitten by it all the ship was fantastic the crew were always smiling and very helpful the Captain had a fantastic sence of humour and always had time to talk to you. The entertainment was generally quite good but there was a few ...

As I have cruised with marella before I must say it was our 1st time on Voyager. Where do I Start. From boarding at Barbados we were made welcome, our cabin on deck 4 was beautifully clean and equipped with everything we needed especially storage, great size shower and toilet area and comfortable beds . Then the dining areas, we were spoiled for choice, the food was perfection with so ...

many areas of this cruise to comment on, most good a few in need of improvement, see below Ship Having been on several Silversea cruises it was easy to orientate yourself on board straight away. The ship is the newest of theirs we've been on and was immaculate, the crew brilliant and had several new features way better than the old ones including: - Great cabins, lots of space, good ...

We had an amazing 2 weeks on this ship. i will say that the buffett was lovely but it was the same every day. We ended up in the restaurants for a change. We had a balcony cabin and it was lovely. the house keeping we just could not fault. in twice a day fresh coffee and tea. If you put your towels on the bsthroom floor you get fresh ones. you get beach towels too. If You get ...

This was our first Silver Sea cruise and despite the bad reviews I read here we absolutely loved it. We are seasoned Celebrity travelers so that could be why. We came from Celebrity Suite previously and I thought the food and service on Silver Sea was just as good as anything we had on Celebrity. It makes a big difference when there are only 340 passengers and 300 crew members. Service was top ...

Have never been to Brazil and was excited about the experience with the new expedition ships the Viking has developed. As expected Viking is a first class way to travel on any of their fleet of ships. Enjoyed meeting the expedition staff and the incredible informative including seeing/learning about microplastics, seeing the Hangar and Science Laboratory and the (BRUVS) Baited Remote Underwater ...

60th birthday cruise

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Braemar

We chose this cruise as it fitted in with my husbands shifts and as it was close to my 60th birthday. We did not enjoy the "fine dining" experience but that was personal choice. We preferred the flexibility of eating in the Palms Cafe. When we originally booked we requested 2nd sitting but were allocated 1st which was too early for us. Sadly on the occasions we did eat breakfast and lunch in ...

My first ever cruise which was a trip with my parents and brother as a special family trip and despite my reservations I really enjoyed cruising. Infact I would go again. We had an inside cabin which was actually not too bad. I missed having no natural light but storage was fine and beds very comfortable. The ship, crew and trips were all excellent and I found very little to criticise. The food ...

Bucket list cruise to see the Amazon River. The whole experience far exceeded all expectations. First time with Fred Olsen Right from the start everything was very well organised. The staff were all very attentive and it was service with a smile through out the whole cruise. Nightmare journey home not good having to fly from Manaus to Barbados to chance crew and refuel as we couldn't get off ...
