This was our first Silver Sea cruise and despite the bad reviews I read here we absolutely loved it. We are seasoned Celebrity travelers so that could be why. We came from Celebrity Suite previously and I thought the food and service on Silver Sea was just as good as anything we had on Celebrity. It makes a big difference when there are only 340 passengers and 300 crew members. Service was top ...

Embarked in Barbados after a 3-day visit to that pleasant but (to me) mildly dull island. Embarkation was so easy we weren't sure if we were done (!) and cabin was available immediately. SILVERSEA CRUISES - Revisited Several years ago I sailed on Silversea Cruises' SILVER CLOUD in the Mediterranean. I greatly enjoyed the experience but haven't found the time to return as quickly as I had hoped, until now. My partner and I choose the SILVER SHADOW for a 9-night cruise beginning in Barbados on October 17, 2007 and ending in Ft. Lauderdale. We also spent two nights at Sandy Lane ...

Silver Shadow December 12-21, 2006 Barbados - Ft. Lauderdale This was our first trip with Silversea. We decided on this cruise due to favorable press and internet reviews of Silversea, a fantastic price considering the all-inclusiveness of Silversea, the time of the cruise - just at the beginning of our long, Chicago winters and the itinerary included a number of islands that we have not been ...
