Terrific First Time Cruise on Seabourn

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

We chose this cruise to visit the islands in the Southern Caribbean, especially Grenada, and to experience Seabourn for the first time. The experience was terrific! There were about 200 guests on the Odyssey, which has a capacity of about 450. All guests and crew members were vaccinated and tested for COVID-19 and wore masks. Our veranda suite was attractive and beautifully maintained, as was the ...

Reviews of this ship are accurate but the excursion manager was impossible to deal with

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Royal Clipper

Choose this cruise because I really like small ships and I was very interested in the sailing etc. As others have described the “raising of the sails” is very dramatic and fun to watch for the first 2 or 3 times. Crew is obviously focused on the care and maintenance of the sails etc. but as far as I could tell except for the day when we sailed with a sister ship the sails were just ...

A Superb Cruise & I felt totally SAFE

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Azura

We chose this cruise some months back when it was thought covid was slowing. It was an itinerary we had done before on Britannia. This was Azura's 3rd cruise after cruises were suspended. Although not an official figure it was thought there were about 1600 on board - half capacity, and most notably the age demographic was far far lower than cruises I have been on, well done younger people ...

Amazing Experience

This was my first time on a Star Clippers cruise. I had been on three big cruise lines but never on a tall ship. The experience far exceeded my expectations and I have already booked my next one. It was absolutely incredible. In fact, when the sails went up for the “sail away” experience on the first night – I would say it was one of the most amazing moments in years of travel. Every sail away was ...

COVID didn't have much effect

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Silver Whisper

We booked this cruise 18 months ago to be a short relaxing getaway after the holidays to warmer climate. Unfortunately, Omicron hit, too late to back out so we hoped for the best. COVID test at embarkment (Barbados) actually wasn't too bad, 30 - 40 min. so don't let COVID procedures stop you from cruising. If you get seasick easily then understand this is a small ship and it does roll a bit - ...

Travelling during Covid is not so bad

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

We live in Barbados and therefore wanted a cruise which sailed out of Barbados and which included Christmas day. I travelled with my son and daughter and granddaughter who is 6 years old. Adventure Ocean proved to be everything my granddaughter wanted: art & craft, painting, games, magic plasticine playdoh, slime etc. She couldn't wait to go back after each session. The crew members in ...

Good to be back, Good food, patchy entertainment

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Azura

Did the same cruise 3 yrs ago so good to be back. Surprised to find only 900 onboard but understandable. Interior lacked a bit of atmosphere if you didn't go at peak times (after 8.30 show, usually). Felt sorry for some of the artists because of this. Plus point was no queues for dining rooms, where the food was very good. Service varied - generally good but sometimes slow and forgetful, even ...

First Cruise out of Barbados for RCL Grandeur

We picked this cruise after having so many cancelled, that we wanted to to try something new. A new ship for us. New ports for us. Flying to a foreign country was new. A great price after all the credits. The stress level was new too with all the requirements between the cruise line, airline and countries. We flew out of Miami, and for those doing that for the first time in this day and age, ...

Very disappointed

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Silver Whisper

The Silver Whisper is advertised as an upscale ship. I guess it depends on what you are looking for on your cruise. Our voyage in the Caribbean was a great disappointment in many respects. The ship itself it's very nice but not great. . The best thing about the Whisper is the crew. They are outstanding in every way. Drinks are free and that's great. On the other hand, the food was consistently ...
