Huge Disappointment

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

When we arrived at Barbados there was chaos with the ground agents who didn’t seem to know who was going to which hotel for the first night stay. Luggage was being put into various vans and guests were put on minibuses and after quite a while we set off for the hotel. We were concerned about the luggage as on a previous Regent cruise our luggage had been lost! We arrived at the Accra Beach ...

Nice ship but everything else is bad

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Mein Schiff

No problems with it being a German speaking ship. Despite a good hard product with comfortable cabins (including Nespresso machines), a 25 metre pool, expansive included sauna facilities, a choice of restaurants and a broadly inclusive package, unfortunately the soft product means it will be a no go line in the future. 1. The included wines are undrinkable and the ones for purchase are ...

Bad Food and Poor Entertainment

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas

My Husband booked this cruise as a surprise 60th Birthday present, and it was far from cheap. We had a balcony cabin which was clean and quite roomy despite the fact that the fridge did not work. Another fridge was delivered after complaining but was in addition to the broken fridge, so was placed under the dressing table leaving no room to push the chair under the dressing table therefore taking ...

Reasonable but had no dinner

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

Biggest problem was that the windjammer was closed in the evening so we could not find anything to eat. We have restricted diets and did not go to restuarants to see a set menu. So each night we went to teh little cafe and had fruit and cookies. It might have been useful if they had given advance notice of WJ closure. In fcat the RCI app was showing WJ to be open in evenings - that was right upto ...

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Silver Spirit

Have traveled with Silversea on over 20 cruises now, on most of the ships. The last time we traveled this ship was Christmas 2018. Only 4 stops, so most were sea days, however lack of any 'activites' most days and only 1 day where we were provided with an 'extra' food offering on pool meant our group were rather bored. La Terezza has stopped providing a 'restaurant' drink to start the meal and ...

Covid Cruise - P&O allow passengers onto ship riddled with Covid!

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Azura

We chose this cruise (Barbados to Malta) because it seemed like the cruise of a lifetime & ship pictures were lovely. We understandably had a PCR test and an airport antigen test before leaving the UK (Gatwick) to create a 'Covid bubble' i.e. only allowed to travel if results negative. This made us feel safe. We got onboard on the evening of 18th March and the ship seemed to live up to ...

Mislead & Lied To About Covid & Numbers In Quarantine

Choose this cruise in 2020 as liked the itinerary and the idea of crossing Atlantic. Unknown to the joining 500 in Barbados on 18 & 19 March the ship already had Civif amongst guests who had finished Caribbean sector, the Crew especially waiting staff etc and booked Entertainment. Getting to ship however was like the Crystal Maze. Totally understand P&O wanting to create a safety bubble of guests ...

Tired Old Ship in need of some TLC

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Royal Clipper

We sailed on Royal Clipper in 2014 and loved it. We couldn't wait to go back, so much so, we booked two cruises back-to-back. This time was a VERY DIFFERENT experience. - Blistering paint and rust on ceiling, banged up woodwork, bad stains on carpet, chipped up paint on walls - Malfunctioning toilet (twice). We didn't have a working toilet for 16 hours. We had to use the toilet in ...

Very disappointed

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Silver Whisper

The Silver Whisper is advertised as an upscale ship. I guess it depends on what you are looking for on your cruise. Our voyage in the Caribbean was a great disappointment in many respects. The ship itself it's very nice but not great. . The best thing about the Whisper is the crew. They are outstanding in every way. Drinks are free and that's great. On the other hand, the food was consistently ...

Appalling smell

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Azura

Several previous cruises with P&O. This one ruined - not because of the cancelled port visits (due to the current virus panic) which the captain handled well - but because the ship stank of sewage. We had paid for a good midship balcony cabin but could not use the balcony because of the constant vile stench of sewage. Public rooms and the promenade deck midship also stank of sewage. It ...
