we were lucky this must have been the last cruise during the virus outbreak, for those people that could not get to the cruise because of sickness I am very sorry, for those who changed their minds and got a flight home what a treat you missed, it was like new years eve every day, the weather on the crossing could not have been better, the entertainment was fantastic the crew were wonderful and ...

Great Premium flight from Birmingham well worth the extra though why you should have to pay on top of £175 surcharge to reserve a seat baffles me. Smooth transfer to cruise terminal then super quick boarding less than 5 minutes after getting off coach. Found cabin nice and spacious with large balcony. All ok there, luggage arrived within an hour or so. Muster drill delayed until a18:30 ...

We have previously been on the Ventura and thoroughly enjoyed it so decided to give the azura a try. The prices of drinks are absurd. The entertainment not that great apart from jimmy Tamley and accent. When returning onto ship from port we found them writing our names down if we had more duty free than we should, so beware as they pass this information on in Southampton. Food standards have ...

We are in our mid 50's and cruise quite a lot. Mostly Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Princess. We chose this cruise as it was a Transatlantic, stopping at the Azures which we have never visited. We still haven't. The day before we left I got an e-mail from P&O saying we wouldn't be going to the Azores . Reason they gave was stormy weather affecting their operations. They don't say that in ...

Liked the itinerary but particularly a visit to tha Azores, however, the cruise got off to a bad start when we received an email the day before flying out to Barbados saying the ship would not be stopping off at the Azores because of a storm in the Caribbean. We later learned that people already on board had this info. at least 10 days before! After a 2 hour delay, we arrived on board and ...

A travellors we wanted to try the Caribbean & I would confirm this was not a great introduction I feel I must start with the bad. While booking our cruise I completed an accessibility & Medical Assistance ( 4 pages ) form as my Father In law ( 84 )was coming with us. As you can guess nothing was provided. We flew from Gatwick to Bridgetown Barbados with transfers to the ship, I arranged a ...

We cruised on Ventura in 20014 and had a excellent holiday,We had no reservations in booking the P&O Azura transatlantic cruise from Barbados calling at St Lucia, Antigua, St Maarten and the Azores, finishing at Southampton with a total of eight days at sea. We were aware the ship was scheduled a refit immediately after disembarkation. We chose an outside cabin on E deck with an obstructed view, ...

well here we are back today (4/4/13) from barbados on board a very friendly ship. we embarked on our first ever flight from gatwick where, after an accident to my wife on the escalator we were fast tracked through the airport and looked after very well by very concerned staff at both the airport and on the plane, the 8 3/4 hrs flight was very enjoyable and we were well fed and watered throughout. ...
