Nice boat, shame about the service!

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaside

We chose this trip because of the islands it visited...... However This was an 12 day cruise on MSC Seaside. The ship is beautiful and well appointed. Unfortunately the service does not match the well polished image if the boat! I have never been on a cruise where the serving staff actively avoid the areas of the ship furthest away from the bar areas. It's not that there aren't enough of ...

First Time With MSC...And Last Time For Us

Maybe, just maybe... if this is your first cruise ever you may find it interesting because you have nothing else to compare it to. After 35 cruises we knew this was a gamble but we booked last minute as every other ship was sold out for the 4th of July. MSC in the US is really geared to first time cruisers, very young families with apparently undisciplined, screaming kids and those that don't know ...

Worst cruise ever

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaside

Worst cruise ever and i have been on 16 cruises with different companies. 1) the cabin was a problem from the start, no soap, hairdryer caught fire, lights going off and on, balcony light not working, toilet not flushing, no kettle in room and no little table on balcony 2) no washing of hands or sanitising was enforced so 9 out of 10 people just didnt bother, most of the time soap not ...

Worst Cruise Ever

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaside

We have been on a dozen previous cruises and this was the worst cruise by a long way. The ship, cabin and crew were all very good so what went wrong. Breakfast was good but the rest of the food was poor. Lunch meals in the buffet looked unappetising and were cold or warm at best. Your best bet is the Ipanema restaurant but it takes a while for three course meal and we were often not on the ...

Worst cruise ever and Ihave done over 16, first and last time using MSC God help anyone on their cruise if theres an emergency as none of the crew seem capable of knowing anything in general let alone an emergency and that goes for the higher up staff as well. Lower staff over worked and do long hours higher staff just dont care about anyone From bad food, not enough entertainment, slow ...

We choose this cruise for the itinerary . We have done two other cruises with msc in the past and found them to be very good , this time however the food in the main restaurant was awful lacking in flavour very mediocre, the availability of choice was awful mainly venison or fish , the quality of the food was very poor . The entertainment was lacking in choice also there was three main bands ...

Rubbish cruise line

we chose this cruise as we love cruising the caribbean out of barbados. this turned out to be rubbish in the 14 days we visited 4 islands TWICE the standard of food was rubbish unless you like over spiced / herbs and ITALIAN based food. so called English choices, under cooked even if you asked for well done. For English style food i do not think Beefburgers AND Hot Dogs fit the bill. The so ...

First and last time for MSC

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaview

We were offered this as a special deal and thought we would try MSC. This was our 14th cruise, so I'd like to think we have at least an average benchmark across 5 other cruise lines to compare to. The ship was kept clean and there were only 950 people on a 4,500 capacity ship, so it often felt completely empty. The cabins were OK, the beds were not especially comfortable, but the worst ...

Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaview

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

This was our first cruise. We had been interested in cruising for some time and when we received a storming deal via a travel agent we had used previously, we decided to just go for it. We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise, even though there were some things that could have been better. Positives included a new, modern ship, and you could tell. Particularly when comparing to others parked up in ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaview

We booked this cruise ‘The best of the Caribbean’ in 2020. A 14 night cruise on MSC Seaview with a different island to visit each day including return visits to Martinique and Guadeloupe. Twelve different islands, six of which we had not visited before. We paid the balance in November 2021 but then 4 days later received an email saying that two of the islands to be visited had not met the ...
