Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Azura

Our flight from Newcastle with TUI was excellent plenty of leg room and great service from the stewards on board. We were lucky to get an upgrade of our cabin but unfortunately for us although in a great position on the ship it was a Pullman berth cabin and for two weeks we were bending over to get into our bed. Entertainment was ok but not as good as on other P&O cruises we’ve been ...

I'm not sure what planet these people are who have bitterly complained about a truly magnificent ship. Staff were second to none, polite, courteous and friendly. Our cabin kept very clean, towels flannels, changed twice every day, bedding daily, the ship was spotless, never ever found any of the general toilets around the ship dirty. All areas of the ship were kept exceptionally clean. Bar staff ...

We boarded in Barbados having flown from the UK, embarkation was late due to delays with luggage at the airport and there was no welcome when we got on the ship We were on board for 14 nights and found that there was a lot more attention given to other groups when they arrived, the focus seemed to be on French guests Our cabin, a balcony on deck 13 with the Aurea experience was good, ...

Boarding the ship in Barbados was a well organised operation. After leaving the TUI flight from Manchester we directly boarded a bus which took us to the Azura where a bank of staff processed credit cards and signed everyone in. We took on board the allowed 2 x 1 litre bottles of wine or spirit which is way more than other cruise lines. Once on board staff were on hand to direct us to our cabin ...

Enjoyable Caribbean Cruise, But Some Issues With The Ship

Our first P and O cruise, flying to/from Barbados and cruising round the Caribbean. First week saw unprecedented weather with strong winds preventing us berthing at St Vincent and St Kitts (although the Captain managed to squeeze in St Kitts later on, and replaced St Vincent with Martinique). On-board food was very good (gluten-free dietary requirement was very well catered for). Entertainment ...

Sadly cut backs are very noticeable on the Azura. Food was excellent in all venues. Cabin appeared clean and steward was great, sadly they no longer have time to do the wonderful animal towels as they now have a greater volume of rooms to clean. sadly when we pulled our suitcase out from under the bed it was covered in dust! Although we no longer pay tips on P+O most people still gave at ...

I chose this cruise as I have been on same one 3 previous times and enjoyed it very much. We were a group of 10 people, 8 of whom had been before so we have something to compare our experience with. I can understand that embarkation and disembarkation is a massive headache for all staff so have no particular comment to make in that respect. The ship, however is a different matter. Sadly in need ...

We chose this ship because of its value for money and booked eleven months ago travelling with two others who have cruised several times this was our first so had nothing to compare it to. We can honestly say we would never choose MSC again. Reception staff were rude and totally unhelpful and the ship catered mainly for the French! We purchased a premium drinks package which was for any ...

This was our second cruise on the Azura and are a couple in our 40s with a 8 and 10 year old. We had a really good time and enjoyed our time on board, but noticed slight differences from last time 2 years previously. The bar service around the pool. Yes it was busy on sea days, not as busy on non sea days as we did not get off at every port. But the bar service has slipped. Previously ...
