Arvia is a fabulous ship with amazing staff , please do not listen to the constant moans & groans from the reviews .
The price you are paying for a 2 week break on this brilliant ship is far less than you will pay with any other cruise line , stop with the negatives p&o do not deserve them
Food in the main dining room was fine no complaints as was the food in the quays, keel & cow was ...
This was a last minute grabbed bargain to holiday on a new and very large cruise liner. We were not disappointed. Arvia is a lovely ship with a large number of bars and dining areas. We had a balcony cabin on deck 10 towards the front of the ship. The cabin although perhaps smaller than those we are familiar with, but adequate. Our main complaint was the noise of the toilets being flushed in the ...
Since we came back I have already seen plenty of stinging reviews about mediocre food, expensive internet and cabins you can’t swing a cat in. Either these people should stick to their usual ‘premium’ cruise line (‘we normally cruise with x but decided to give P & O a try) or in fact they will never be satisfied whatever ship you put them on. I also think that some people chose this cruise without ...
we were lucky this must have been the last cruise during the virus outbreak, for those people that could not get to the cruise because of sickness I am very sorry, for those who changed their minds and got a flight home what a treat you missed, it was like new years eve every day, the weather on the crossing could not have been better, the entertainment was fantastic the crew were wonderful and ...

Our fourth transatlantic since 2013, Crystal Serenity, 2014 Seabourn Quest and 2016 Regent Explorer.
We embarked in Barbados, easiest we have ever experienced, from arrival at the dock to boarding took ten minutes. Stateroom was available ten minutes after our 2.00 PM boarding.
We had a stateroom forward on deck four, no balcony but a nice big window. First time without a balcony but we did ...
We picked P & O for the itinerary, visiting so many islands including Antigua, St Kitts, St Maarten, Aruba all via Barbados. Firstly so glad we booked a Premium flight from Newcastle, great service and good food and drinks.
Embarkation in Barbados was swift. We were met on the tarmac by mini buses and we were on the ship in 50 minutes! Our cases were delivered at about 9pm. So about 4 hours ...
We were very apprehensive With regards to the trans Atlantic part of this cruise as we thought we would be bored being st sea for so long but were extremely pleased with the amount of entertainment on board such as lectures, classes and facilities available that in the end there was not time to do everything.
The quizzes were very good and my wife joined the choir run by Claire-Marie who was ...
My first ever cruise which was a trip with my parents and brother as a special family trip and despite my reservations I really enjoyed cruising. Infact I would go again. We had an inside cabin which was actually not too bad. I missed having no natural light but storage was fine and beds very comfortable. The ship, crew and trips were all excellent and I found very little to criticise. The food ...
Bucket list cruise to see the Amazon River. The whole experience far exceeded all expectations. First time with Fred Olsen Right from the start everything was very well organised. The staff were all very attentive and it was service with a smile through out the whole cruise. Nightmare journey home not good having to fly from Manaus to Barbados to chance crew and refuel as we couldn't get off ...
