We chose this cruise for its itinerary and were not disappointed with that. However found the Pride was the worst of any ship on our 14 cruises. 2 nights had nothing appealing to 4 of the 6 at our table. The other couple were first timers so had nothing to compare to. When we decided to go to the Panama Canal (bucket list thing) Carnival didn't have an itinerary that included the canal so we booked on another line. My wife and I took our first cruise and had an excellent time on the Carnival Pride. The ship was delayed 2 hours and embarkation was not pleasant. I choose this cruise to celebrate my birthday, and the convenience of leaving from close to home. We have always enjoyed sailing with RCL. Even though this ship is one of the older ones in the fleet the crew did a teriifc job. Francis ,the concierge was terific, as well as John our suite attendant. The food in the main dining room as well as Chops Grill, Geovannie, and Izumi was very good.
