I chose this cruise as the port was close to where I live some of the time and I have never left from this port either. The ship was not a big ship which I really liked. The staff was exceptionally friendly, could not do enough to make your cruise the very best. The ship was clean and health safety protocols were in place. The food in the Windjammer was good, good variety. I enjoyed the fact that ...
My husband and I were previously booked on a 12-night Southern Caribbean cruise sailing 3/6/21 on the Enchantment. Well we all no what the pandemic has done to the cruising industry these past two years. Our sailing was cancelled by RCCL. Using our FCC, we rebooked for the same itinerary sailing 3/5/22 on the Enchantment. This trip was so long awaited and absolutely was well worth that ...
I see a lot of negative comments about that ship but the whole experience was awesome, except for room service. One night, I tried to get room service, made the call and asked the operator what they had available, she told me to turn the TV on and look for myself... (not good customer service), so I did that, then tried to call for over an hour and no answer... (even worse customer service).

Last month I was on a 9 night sailing on Enchantment, leaving from Baltimore and visiting San Juan, St. Thomas, Samana, and Labadee. This was my 15th cruise, and 12th with Royal Caribbean.
Pre-Cruise: We drove in to Baltimore and stayed at the Hampton Inn Inner Harbor. That night was very cold and windy, and walking around the harbor was not pleasant. The hotel, however, was very clean and ...
We work to plan family vacations that are interesting for my husband and myself (50+ year olds) and also fun for our children (who are in their 30s) and their children (2-one year olds, 1-three year year old, and 2-five year olds). This year we selected Enchantment of the Seas, out of Baltimore, mostly because we thought a cruise would be easy for the younger children and only 3 of our party would ...
We traveled from Arlington, VA which makes a very big difference when you have to use an electrical wheel chair. Even though it was snowing the check in went nice and smoothly. Our cabin (accessible) was great! Plenty of space and with the needs that had been arranged with the special needs department; in other words, by the time we got back to the room after lunch all was in order.
The cruise ...
My husband and I went on this cruise for our 15th Wedding Anniversary (second honeymoon!) and had a fabulous time. Leaving from Baltimore was a lot more timely and seamless than we expected. I would say we were on the ship within an hour of getting to port. We were pleased with the amount of security as well. Ship didn't sail til 4 pm but we got there early and were able to eat Lunch at the ...
Enchantment of the Seas -- Feb 27 -- March 10, 2012
February 25, 2012 -- Travel Day
Well, here I am at a restaurant in LAX waiting for brunch followed by a flight to Baltimore. Today is Saturday and the cruise leaves on Monday. So first let me give you a little basic information about myself. This is my 19th cruise overall, my 7th cruise with Royal Caribbean and my first cruise on a ...
I have to give it to RCCL, embarkation and debarkation are so easy in Baltimore. Everything is so organized and smooth. Although the ship is going to be revamped in Dec, it was in pretty good shape. We ate mostly in the Windjammer and the food was pretty good, just not very hot. The specialty stations were very good. I wish RCCH would have more to do during the day and not have all the fun ...
Dear wife and I have now completed eight cruises, mostly with Royal Caribbean, experiencing both their smaller and (at the time) largest vessels. Having lived abroad, we consider ourselves highly experienced (and frugal) travelers with the ability to adapt when challenges pop up.
This was our first cruise on Enchantment. We had sailed on her standard-size Vision-class sister, Grandeur of ...
