This was our first cruise the good: We had Grand Suite with large balcony room was nice and the staff was very kind and helpful, food was good, the evenings shows whether magic, comedy or musicals were good. Halifax and Bar Harbour were especially great scenic ports of call. Portland and St Johns were okay, but did not compare.

We are a couple in our early sixties. This was our 15th cruise and our 3rd on Royal Caribbean. We flew into Baltimore the morning of the cruise and caught a taxi to the port. The taxi was $37.00. 1st, we live in MD so getting to/from the Port in Baltimore was very convenient for us. We heard there are hotels in the area you can stay the night before and leave your car there at no charge, and the hotel provides free shuttle to/from the Port -- if this helps you.

We enjoyed our time on the Enchantment of the Seas. We found the ship to be in pretty good shape. It will soon go into dry dock and some of the drapery and carpets will be replaced. Our cabin was an outside stateroom and there was plenty of storage space for the two of us. The bathroom shower was very small but the water pressure and temperature were perfect. My review is based on cruising with a mobility limited parent, and hopefully the information will be helpful to someone else.
Overall, compared to the level of service we've enjoyed on Carnival, Norwegian and Princess, I was surprised with the lack of service on Royal Caribbean. I thought RCI was supposed to be a notch above the other lines I've sailed.

First let me say the only neg. thing was that the gratuities are a little steep and on every thing. My Sister in law bought the wine package and had a very high gratuity as well as my Wife bought 2 cook books and that was very high also.
