First time cruising from Baltimore

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Legend

We got a great deal on this cruise. So we figured we would try Baltimore. It is only 4 hours from Pittsburgh. The ship is really nice. The layout is amazing. The theater and the comedy club are on top of each other. The food was good, not great. The service was fantastic. I think the cruise director was one of the best we have ever had (we have been on 28 cruises). Baltimore was one of the easiest ...

My husband and I were previously booked on a 12-night Southern Caribbean cruise sailing 3/6/21 on the Enchantment. Well we all no what the pandemic has done to the cruising industry these past two years. Our sailing was cancelled by RCCL. Using our FCC, we rebooked for the same itinerary sailing 3/5/22 on the Enchantment. This trip was so long awaited and absolutely was well worth that ...

Great Wintertime Cruise on Carnival Legend - Despite the Winter Storm

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Legend

This cruise was originally scheduled for April 2020 but kept getting postponed due to COVID. We were finally able to go in January 2022 - which was great because my daughter is pregnant and Carnival does not allow you to sail past 24 weeks. She was 22 weeks when we went. Although I will mention that no one ever asked about it - so if you are worried about it because you are cutting it close - ...

We were originally booked for this same cruise in 2021, then COVID happened. We were looking forward to the partial transit of the Panama Canal (we even booked an aft-facing balcony); plus we would celebrate Charlotte's birthday and our wedding anniversary during the cruise. The afternoon before the cruise, we were notified that due to COVID and weather conditions the cruise was shortened from ...

Wonderful cruise on RCI Enchantment of the Seas despite COvid19 risk

My husband and I have been on more than 20 cruises over the years, including RCI, NCL, Princess, Disney and Cunard. We travel on a variety of cruise lines, and hold no blind loyalty to one cruise line in particular. We are both former high-ranking, military officers, one of us is a healthcare provider (PhD-prepared advanced practice nurse), and we both have high expectations for everything it ...

Pre-Cruise So this was our 10th sailing and it was my self, DW and our two youngest sons (DS4 and DS5). We originally booked this cruise to make up for our cancelled Bermuda cruise as we already had a cruise booked for February of next year on Legend. About two months before sailing our itinerary was changed from Bermuda to the Bahamas. Since we paid a great price for Bermuda (equal to a good ...

My best girlfriend and I went on the cruise to celebrate the end of breast cancer treatment and the joy of our friendship. We have been on Grandeur in the past as it is a breeze leaving from Baltimore & we both appreciate not having to fly the friendly skies. My friend really wanted to see Perfect Day in Coco Cay. Embarkation was so simple. There was a person outside terminal asking ...

We wanted to cruise from Baltimore, no flights this time. Relaxation and good food were our requirements. Since we were in a Suite, we were spoiled, and enjoyed our stateroom more than any other cruise taken in 30 years. Our room stewardess was excellent. Loved the bath tub, the double sinks, and we couldn't begin to fill the closets and drawers. There was a sofa, with a nice coffee table to ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

Two years in a row in January on the Grandeur is a lot better way to get to warm waters and plenty of sun traveling on a nice ship through choppy waters than the grueling voyage on I-95 in crowded traffic surrounded by crazy drivers. The boat driver on the Grandeur had some work to accomplish to navigate the heavy weather on this voyage, but they call it an ocean, not a lake - thus one should ...
